For me it’s the infected swears bagging ;-;
Oh, definitely the time when the other six Grifball players turned on me and my wife just because we wanted to play the match as intended and not “sword line” like they wanted.
Halo 3: capture the flag. My team was about to win when suddenly they decided not to cap the last flag. When they started spawn trapping the enemy team, I tried to finish the match. My team betrayed me when I tried to cap the last flag. I had it halfway to our base when out of nowhere I got betrayed. I tried 3 times to cap. They called me a loser among other expletives. Just wanted to finish the match. The enemy team started to protect me from my own team once they realized I was not part of the spawn trapping. Quit playing Halo for a while after that.
Probably my whole team betraying me in BTB just because I wasn’t in their party. I got betrayed 8 (no exaggeration, theater confirmed) times with no option to boot, I betrayed one of them once and they booted me immediately
Halo CE, BTB, Ice Fields. I was driving a Scorpion, then out of nowhere 4 of my teammates swarmed me while I was moving. And… yes I was booted soon after. Like seriously, to this day I still wonder what the hell was that about.
Anytime Im about to cap a flag in CTF I watch my back, people try to teamkill me just so they can get the points for capping it instead. Seems most common in H4.

This used to happen to me all the time in OG Reach and it’s happened quite often in MCC BTB too, not really sure why some parties feel the need to gatekeep matchmaking like this.
There’s a couple that I can kind of recall. I used to play a fair bit of grifball and I just remember a couple of times where I would literally be pinned down by the entire enemy team AND my team too getting constantly spawn killed/betrayed. So frustrating.
Another thing was on a Slayer match on Boardwalk there was these two guys who were able to betray me over and over again, like I’m talking 8 or 9 times each, and I didn’t get the boot option not once. I think I was able to kill one of them once and I don’t think I got booted but it frustrated me so badly that they were able to get away with it so many times each.
Guys can be really toxic on grifball from time to time

Wait, what’s “sword lining”? First I have ever heard of this term before.
I was playing a BTB game on H4 right? Some dude was gettin pissed cuz I was rackin up all the kills. He called me too sweaty and somehow got the whole team to betray me a buncha times. I forgot how many. But yeah. One of the reasons why I stay away from social is because of the trolls.

Basically before the Weekly/Seasonal Challenges, back when XP was only earned through medals and match completion, people in Grifball would “sword line” to boost XP. You pull out your Energy Sword, each team stands in a line and take turns killing each other back and forth. If it was done right you’d max exp gain ( 32k ) in about 5-10 minutes.
Naturally this swiftly became a bannable offence.

Oh dang, I had no idea. I swear some grinder have no ethics.
Grifball is impossible to play on Reach nowadays because the only people in there collude to do nothing just for the XP which is so lame I can’t even begin to describe it. If you dare to try playing the video game they’ll just spawn kill you mercilessly. Absolutely cowardly and pathetic.
Getting to 49 kills in Slayer and my Xbox turns off. Ughhh!
This didn’t happen to me personally, but I used to run with one of the original old Halo clans called UEG. We were playing Warzone on Halo 5 and the guys in my party were pretty good so we rolled the other team. Some of them decided to spam messages to the other team telling them that suck and are pathetic players and what not.
The whole thing was pretty toxic to be honest.
that’s very toxic

I think for me it’s the same thing.
Most toxic play I ever had was when I started playing halo reach back in 2013. I had started with a group of guys online playing just standard team death match. We had guy hiding in one of the structure sniping at people from afar. So I picked up the sniper and shot him in the head ending his kill streak. When playing onwards me and my friend who were playing didn’t know at the time but this guys friend. Was on our team and I guess I told his friend be a -Yoink-. Because for the rest of the game he friend team killed us the entire time my friend killed him for doing it and they booted him from the game and so I just quit because I was sick of the dude team killing me and after booting my friend that was the last straw. He friend this tried messaging us and basically harassing my friend. So I told my friend to block him. Then the guys friend did the same thing so we blocked him too. They tried it to me but I reported them to Xbox I not really sure what happened after that since I did not hear from them after that.
In my case is when i play with kids in multiplayer ,sometimes can be tired and toxic but other times can be funny just hear that they said
