Mine was being 14 and skipping school to play Halo 2 when it came out. Then when I went back to school the day after, we found out that majority of the male students skipped school for Halo. lol
I have doezens more memories. Lol
There are lots, but my fave time was the halo 3 launch. About 30 of my friends and family rented an empty store in the middle of town and lived there for a month playing it.
This was better than all of us living at my house and playing like when halo 2 came out 
Good old days, tons of great memories.
Mowing down all the marines on the beach during the Silent Cartographer one time laughing my -Yoink- off and being told by my then best friend that this is “just not my game”. Well here I am 20 years later still loving it and playing it often.
Best memories had to of been playing matchmaking in halo 3 with my clan that me and some online friends made. Shout out to the old cube clan! We had somewhere around 70 members and had a blast playing with all of those guys. Can’t believe the relationships I made playing halo 3. Since 2008 I’ve been playing halo with Mermdog. We still to this day call each other on the phone and play halo from time to time in the year 2021! This man has been a great friend and I would’ve never met him if it wasn’t for halo 3. Truly appreciate his friendship and the fact that he has always been there to talk about life.

That is such a wholesome story and experience. The best friendships are found in the most obscure places I say.
Speed halo with my friends. It was a b party, we all had a lan party and 4 players each console.
One of my favourite memories is when my friends would come over and we would have a lads night (pizza, drinks, video games). The first thing we always did before moving on to the Nintendo Wii would be four-way splitsceen on Halo 3. Sometimes we would play FFA, sometimes we would play doubles. We had great fun.
Playing LAN nights on Halo CE, while I was still living in my friend’s closet, game modes such as shotguns only Chiron TL-34, demolition derby, or melee only oddball.
Going to the Microsoft Store launch party with my best friend. It was Halo 4. They let us play the first level and had a raffle too! I won a dog tag that I still display to this day.
Dont know if this counts but going to emerald city comic con and seeing the 405th (Halo cosplayers) for a few years
Wow, back in the Summer of 2006 staying up all day going to sleep at 6am, waking up at 2pm and playing Halo 2 all night. Modding and standbying lol
Halo 2 launch. Buddy of mine tells me the day before he’s going down to the closest EB games (an hour away. Small town FTL) to get it and he will be back at school for lunch where we will then go grab his Xbox and head back to school to finish the day off before we head to mine to play halo all night.
he shows up right at lunch I say “we doing this.” He goes “yup” and we take our lunch break to walk to his place grab his Xbox which is shoved into my backpack and walk to school. Both of us happen to have a free block right after lunch and we know the Band class room is empty. The teacher their let’s us set his Xbox and lay a bit till our last classes of the day. We book it to my place with a couple other of our friends and play Halo 2 the entire night.

My first LAN party at a community college was also great. It was like a convention of nothing but LAN parties and dominos pizza on standby. lol

I started my first h2 multiplayer match, was thrown into Lockout on Ramp to Snipe 2.
Got smoked before i could pick up a weapon.
My heart was pumping and i was full of adrenalin.
It was all so fast, i didnt know what to do.
Turns out, it was very addicting.
13.000 matches later, im hyped for Infinite.

Lol foot pedals? I didn’t know it was a thing! I remember towards the high peak everyone was standbying I hated it but if you couldn’t beat them, join them. But now I’m 100% legit.
Playing Halo 3 Forge with my little brother, and he dropped a Scorpion on me and it sent me flying. That, and that one time we pushed a friendly Warthog into a group of Prometheans in Firefight! lmao. I couldn’t see because my eyes were full of tears from laughing.
The first time I played a Halo game it was Halo 2, I was about 5 or 6 and my neighbor came over to tell me to play Halo with him and we would repeat Delta Halo like 5 times or play Metropolis, after we completed Halo 2 then we started playing CE. It was my first time playing a FPS game and it’s my favorite FPS game. We sometimes try play Delta Halo to bring back the memories
Cairo Station. Playing Cairo Station with my Dad, i remember when we discovered that on Legendary, it reverted to the last checkpoint. I think that is probably my fondest memory…we spent hours on Cairo Station. Probably some, 100+ hours. The good ‘ole days.
My fondest halo memory was when me and my Dad used to play Halo Reach and Halo 3 ODST to get new armor and complete every mission on Heroic or Legendary
