What req packs should you be buying?

So on HALO 5 the only way you can get stuff is by buying req packs to get content you want; armour, guns, hogs etc.

So we need points to get packs but that’s not the end of it, 343 has given us more then just one pack to buy?
Why is this?
Is it s silly trick to slow you down or is it just more fun to have a pick?
Yes there is actually a trick to it that most of you people wouldn’t understand.
If you are to get 100% of the req content by buying GOLD packs then you’ll be up for a lot of packs, which will take a lt of money or gameplay, years of gameplay.
Is there a way to speed it up without money? Well yes there is and it’s buy using/buying the other packs and not just the GOLD packs.
You’ve got your bronze, silver and gold packs, in a silver and gold pack you’ve get 2 permanent unlocks.
So the smarter thing to get are the silver packs because they are half the price of a gold pack allowing you to get more content faster.
As for the bronze pack, they are only 25% the cost of a silver pack and they don’t give a permanent unluck, there’s only a chance of one so is it worth getting?
Well that actually depends on how much of the req content you’ve already unlocked.
If your new or haven’t even got 4% of all permanent unlocks then i say it’s worth getting as you’ll unlock more stuff buying 4 bronze packs to every 1 silver pack, But only until you’ve unlocked 90% of all the coommom permanent unlocks.
Then after you’ve gotten most of the green cards, start getting the silver packs until you’ve unlocked 100% of all the uncommon req cards then go for the gold pack and get the rest but doing it in this order then you’ll save at least 40% of time with getting all the req cards.
I hope you got this before your started buying a heap of gold packs and good luck guys.

Maybe a Username change to MarshalSIlverpack would help put your point across

In all seriousness though, “common” items can be skipped. Just go straight to SIlvers, then Gold. I wasted so much time on Bronze, but depending on your luck, they can be ok. Whatever you do though, do not buy any gold packs until all uncommon/rares have been unlocked. Sure, you might get lucky once or twice getting two ultra rares, or even legendaries, but it is not worth it!

Well yes it’s a gamble but depending on luck and smart calculations you can save even more req points. Because the less commons you have the higher the chances are for getting permanent unlocks. Get a pen and paper and write it down. All you need to get is 2 permanent unlocks for every 4 bronze packs then your doing good. On average I’d get 2 and a half for every 4 bronze packs. Until your on your last 15%, then you waste req points and it’s better to go to silver packs until your ready for gold packs.

I think you are missing the point.
Gold packs don’t give commons, only uncommon and above. So when those are out of the way with silvers, you can get gold packs and not worry about the commons.

Just minor detail I’m pointing out the only common items that are exclusive to bronze is the Mongoose including all its variants.

So just first grind through all your common to rares by opening silvers until you receive a 3000 REQ points refund then you can jump into your golds.

It shouldn’t take long to unlock everything if you buy intelligently, I began buying gold packs at launch thinking I would get the best armours early (not realizing that the -Yoink- ones are still in the pool). This wasted a ton of req points and probably slowed me down a ton. The average person should be done their reqs by level 110 but I’m just finishing now at 125.

How do you know when you’ve got 90 percent of the common stuff

Check your collection tab in the spartan hub. Look at the common percentages and add it all up.
