Yeah I know we’re 16-18 months until the game releases, and we know really nothing about the game aside from a few things. Since the beginning of the franchise, all the FPS games have been rated M. Then Halo 5 released and had a T rating, surprising and to some disappointed them. If you had to guess, what rating do you think Infinite will get?
Not sure but the only rating Infinite needs is a 18 or Mature. Halo needs to get back to the gore since miss seeing the green blood. Kind of feel like the blood was part of classic’s Halo charm…not really a fan of Halo 5’s ‘erase the body’ whenever we kill someone. Plus loved when Halo showed infection forms turning humans into Flood in-game and concerned if we get anything less then the campaign will be toned down too much. Plus if people are too effected by the gore then I guess 343i could have a turn off option for those that can’t handle it. Not saying Halo needs to turn into Doom 16’s level of gore but at the very least I want to be able to see stuff like this, this since it was more immersive instead of Halo 5’s where it’s at it’s minimum.
I expect it’ll be Teen. Gotta maximize the sales potential…
Mature, in-line with Halo 3 levels of graphic violence would be ideal.
Doesn’t really matter really.
You can get away with a good number of actions under a T rating, and Halo barely deserved an M rating in the first place.
I mean if we get the Flood, it’s probably going to get an M rating due to the gore and dismemberment that they bring.
If we get Flood, and I hope we do, it should be an M rating.
