What Rank system do you want in Reach and in Halo 4

Hey guys i was wondering if in reaches TU you wanted a 1-50 system or not. I also was wondering if you wanted cR in halo 4. Or maybe a combination of both and if so explain how.

Yes, I think this would be awesome too.

That system is much better to use because rank showcases skill in the game, but you still have to achieve armor by buying it. How you unlock armor to be able to buy it, I have no clue.

1-50. Anything less and I will not purchase the game. The competitive edge and the intensity of the game have departed and left us with a massive social playlist. The Halo 2 ranking system sufficed perfectly. Whichever industry our group removed the ranking system and clan match have made a grave mistake. They have done the exact same thing that the movie industry does when trying to create a sequel, change the game / movie itself.

We love the game as is. You grabbed us as fans from Halo CE / 2. Why change what we already find perfectly acceptable? All that remains of Halo Reach’s matchmaking experience is a massive social playlist where people quit frequently, are not of the same caliber and quality that they used to be in the previous games, and a lack of creativity in matchmaking itself. No longer do individuals devise plans to capture a flag or plant a bomb on every map. They simply run around like chicken’s with their head cut off and shoot. No strategy, no intensity, no feeling of pride / glory when winning.

All of that has dissipated due to the removal of the ranking system. It may be easier for you creators to run a pathetic CoD ranking system, which is exactly what you have tried to copy, but, do not deviate from your roots. Halo is Halo because it is NOT CoD. That massive rivalry between us Halo players and CoD players is weakening, and, since you have fallen to your knee’s and submitted to your rival, the games are merging in similarity and those of us who pride over choosing Halo over CoD are left out here in the field to perish (metaphorically speaking, of course).

Simply put, by removing both clan and ranks from the game without even asking the PLAYERS themselves, you prove to us that we cannot trust you with our preferences. It proves that you do not in fact “know what we are going through” to reference what parents tell their children when they are from a generation 30-40 years old. The audacity of whoever you are to remove parts of the game so critical to a large number of players without even finding out our opinions is ridiculous and insulting.

I like it. Casuals and hardcore guys both get what they want, but you have to have some skill to get the better armor. But in the end, both benefit.

I want a 1-50 in Team Arena, Big Team Battle, Invasion, Objective, Snipers, and MLG. Everything else can be social. The current ranking system I actually like (recruit - Inheritor), as everyone has a chance to unlock everything. However, certain playlists NEED a ranking system for fair play. Seriously, a party of 8 all above Legend in BTB is overkill. They loose like 1/20 matches at most, way to unfair.

Theres a problem with this. Some people wont get a 50 and complain that they cant get all armor due to some miserable excuse like, quitters on there team. We should stick to achievments with armor.

Then make it so that armor can be achieved over time by earning a certain amount of credits, but take a little longer. If they have less skill than others they shouldn’t be rewarded like in Reach.

I concur. Credit accumulation to buy points can be achieved in both ranked and social, maybe you can bump it to 1.5 times the normal credits in ranked since you are in fact risking something. But, the 1-50 ranking system must be revived. 343 / Bungie, read this and get on it ASAP, your profit margin has spoken.

Yes, you can still buy armor using credit accumulation through both “playlists.” But make it so that earning them through ranked is quicker because as you said, they’re risking it more. Maybe by making it so that you earn more credits per game playing in ranked?

Halo 3 TU 2 update/1-50/Reach universal ranking system. Something like Halotracker’s ranking system to be exact.
