Just wanted to post my first topic and ask the community something. Each Halo game has had nuanced differences from other installments mechanics/multiplayer options-wise. The popularity/endurance of these changes interest me because over the years people have gravitated towards specific entries (I dig the MCC for this, supposedly goofy servers notwithstanding, lol; I love having so many options) and I’m curious as to what elements from the past will make it into the future w/Infinite. Generally people I’ve talked to really lean in to H3 while others are digging where H5 is at as far as MP goes. What kind of balance are you looking for?
I really hope projectile travel time is an important factor in Infinite. Leading shots is a large part of why Halo 3 and CE are so fun to master, as well as a great way of reigning in the ranges of those weapons without introducing Bloom, or Damage Falloff.
Aside from that, I hope Man Cannons and Teleporters are more prevalent in Halo Infinite, they’ve been thrown to the wayside for too long.
In halo 5 you could press A to switch between seats in a warthog, I love that feature, makes playing campaign or multiplayer solo a lot easier.

In H5, as a driver, I think the benefits of having a passenger finally outweigh the risks of being a potential triple kill. Having a passenger who is able to swap right into the gunner seat if (when) your first gunner goes down is a huge boost to a hogs effectiveness and damage output.
This would probably be my top QoL feature I hope carries over from H5.

Seat switching is an awesome feature. I would love to have it back too.

Yeah this is insanely important and I miss it when I play older games. I was on a CE LASO run A few days back and tried to quick swap out of a gun and drive and just stood there like an idiot as I got murdered by a ghost.
Personally, I -Yoinking!- love Grifball and would love to see it as a launch Playlist. I know this is not what you are asking about, but man there is something fun about especially low g Grifball that makes me relax.
