For me personally, it would be BTB, Arena team slayer and Heroic WZ FF.
I don’t really care about gaining XP, but I’d choose Heroic Warzone Firefight, because that’s the only thing I play in Halo 5
Ranked: A playlist with a lower population.
Social: BTB since that’s my main playlist. No other reasoning.
Warzone: Again, something with a lower population. Probably Assault.
Normally, I would’ve said Heroic FF since that’s what I normally play, but I don’t want to deal with the influx of players that don’t normally play FF and are bad at it. The last time double XP was in Heroic I lost 3 games in row and that’s never happened before since I started playing it several months ago.

That’s a good point. I didn’t think of that. Probably the reason I didn’t have that kind of experience during the double XP weekend is because it was enough incentive to get my old buddies to come back to Halo and play Heroic firefight with me, so we were generally able to carry the teams of new people. And my Warthog driving skills have improved…
But yeah, I don’t think double XP is worth having more matches where I’m the only one using anything besides a battle rifle in later rounds. I just wish my friends wouldn’t have gotten bored of Halo 5 so quickly

Not to be confrontational, but I noticed the exact opposite. I figured it was because the more hardcore arena guys wanted some XP (the ones grinding just like us PVE people). Interesting.

I know what you mean but I would still rather have double XP HFF since even losing can give you higher XP than winning regular HFF.

I see where you’re coming from, but I don’t think it’s good to prioritize XP and/or RP over actually winning the matches. Not that I can blame people for doing so. But it’s the same mindset that makes people say “who cares if new people with no reqs join Mythic firefight and cause the team to lose, they get more RP from losses than they get from wins in lower difficulties”.
Like, yeah, ok, I can’t blame people for wanting better rewards from their games. But isn’t the point of the game to actually win? It’s frustrating for people like myself, who play firefight for fun and try to win, and aren’t playing it just to get rewards and rank up.
All of them

I’d love to see the following with the Double XP treatment:

Totally agree with you, especially for Mythic FF.
As a random, I often had to carry the team during double XP weekend which doesn’t always work. I give away vehicles and weapons when I can and to try to win but also give newbies a taste of what to look forward to if they stay with H5. It doesn’t always work since I’ve been betrayed for something numerous times.
That’s the fun part but you get more XP if you win and my yellow brick road ends at 152 at the end of the day.

I try to do the same thing, but the reason it doesn’t work for me is often because everybody is too respectful to take the vehicle I’m trying to leave for them

We need a universal signal to let people know we want them to have something like dropping it in front of them
(P.S. I’ve done this but no gets I’m trying to give them the thing I just dropped)
All of them
Team Arena. CTF is generally my favorite multiplayer game mode in any game, so getting double XP for capping flags and all that would be pretty neat.
The only playlists I’d like to see it in is BTB, Warzone Legendary Firefight since feel like that’s the best playlist to maximised the potential for exp per match’s so doubling that would help but like I’ve said in past threads…I’d rather it wasn’t feature playlists only.
why can’t we have a weekend where all playlists give double XP?
BTB, WZ, and SWAT
