Hey everyone! I’m curious to know what playlist that Halo 5 is missing that you want the most. For me I just want Social Slayer, or even Social Team Arena. I just play real nervous when I play ranked, that’s why I play Breakout more Solo. So what do you guys want to return the most? Maybe make a list of what you want and number what you want the most.

I have experienced BTB Heavies in the previous games and am fully aware of what it is. This website does not explain what BTB Heavies is, it only states “utilize heavy Weapons and Vehicles.” So as much as this link is concerned, if a map has a Wraith/Tank and a Rocket Launcher it is a BTB Heavies map. What I don’t understand is why you would want this playlist since a junk of the current BTB maps such as Viking and Dispelled already offer this…

I never played BTB Heavies and hoped that the website gave an explanation. Sorry about that, but if I had to guess, maybe Tanks and Power Weapons that spawn at a faster rate. I’ve only played Viking once and I have yet to play Dispelled.

Since you mentioned you’ve experienced BTB heavies in previous games, there’s no need for me to explain things like the difference between Spire and Cragmire. While Halo 5’s recent BTB refresh seemed to push it in a heavier direction, it’s not exactly the same thing, and the maps still aren’t as “heavy” as the ones found in the proper BTB heavies gametype, as far as I can tell. However I could be wrong about that, and if I am, then I’ll change my answer to oddball or something.
I think 343 was aware of how popular BTB heavies was in Reach and 4, but they figured Warzone could be its replacement. But I don’t think it can be, because although Warzone usually pretty chaotic and heavy stuff abounds, it’s still a very different experience than the old BTB heavies and maybe I’m just being nostalgic but I miss those days.

If the rumors of the Grenade Launcher are true, then that can help with BTB Heavies being a thing in Halo 5. Plus the Plasma Launcher. Maybe even more vehicles with higher REQs, such as ONI,Helios,Ultra,Temple, or even Hannibal.
I want 8 vs 8 Ranked slayer.
