what other equipment might be added into halo?

personally i think the drop shield seems too overpowered the halo 3 drop shield was alot smaller and it could be taken out of easier

We don’t even know how fast it goes down yet. There is a good chance a plasma pistol will shred it.

You can move through it as well more like a bubble shield.

Hopefully it’s all new stuff that we haven’t seen before.

I wonder if that Electric grenade-type thing seen I never the gameplay trailer is a piece of equipment rather than a grenade? Seemed to have a pretty OP stun ability.

A gun that revives you and you turn gold giving extra damage.

A purple shield that you can throw

A big jump mechanic that kills enemies around you

i think its equipment it kinda looks like the emp power drain from halo 3 but it can stun people

We’ve waited so long and I don’t care if it’s as a weapon or as an equipment, and I’m just going to say it… >.>

Jackal shield

IlI want all the equipment from previous games, even if they’re not used in campaign or mainline gamemodes. Custom games are a thing, and maybe i want to remake an authentic Halo 3 arena.

Some things may be redundant, but i’d still want it in the sandbox.

Great idea! Not sure if it’d work well in most matchmaking, but i’d welcome it to the sandbox.

I also might want:
Smoke grenade (or futuristic equivalent).
Some funky gravity pushy/pully device.
Vehicle repair thingy?
Laser net (ball explodes and sticks temporary lasers everywhere).
Snapshot device (tag/outline enemies in area).
Engineer (or similar team-shield device).
Halo 5 watcher?
Enhanced radar.
Thrusters/stabilize (with fuel?).
Ground pound and spartan charge could be one-off equipment.
Can we get some flood-form equipment?
Sprint/clamber/slide? If they’re not default abilities.
Some sort of 2-player equipment would be crazy.
Deployable teleporter?

Should overshield and cloaking be equipment or instant powerups? Should there be more instant powerups (like speed)?

yeah there should be a thread for instant powerups if sprint isn’t in multiplayer a speed powerup would be awesome

It looks to be way weaker than the bubbleshield imo. With the wall you can still flank around it or throw grenades over it. The BS gave you 360 degree protection from outside the bubble. I doubt (hope) the ability to shoot through the barrier will carry over to multiplayer

Deploy-able barricade

Would love to see the incendiary grenade make a comeback from H3 (Since Brutes are the antagonist) it would be interesting to see it in action on the new engine.

Idea 1)
What about something that pulls any grenades that land within a certain radius to it. That could create some totally crazy sandbox moments.

Idea 2) Something that prevents shields of nearby players from recharging. Bit thr item itself does not actively drain or recharge the players shields.

Idea 3) Blade attachment: Add a fragile blade to the current weapon, which will break after 1 use. (Blades in Infinite kill damaged Spartans faster than non bladed weapons apparently. But they kill fully shielded Spartans in the same number of hits as non- bladed weapons.)

I would love to see the return of some of the Halo 3 classics!

Namely the bubble shield (unlikely) and the portable grav lift. The grav lift however is likely trumped by the grapple.

I want the hologram thingy that ran over and T-bagged your vanquished foes.

yes but it still mixes up gameplay to feel fresh and better
