Omg, I think this is true. Apparently, Frankie just stated that Halo 2 Anniversary is NOT something they are working on, nor is it in 343’s plans.
HOW DERPY ARE YOU GUYS?!?! I mean, I know you goofed quite a bit with Halo 4, BUT REALLY?!?!?! It is SOOOOO obvious that the fans want a H2A, how can you go on these forums and NOT notice that??? I mean, REALLY, if you guys gave Halo 2 the same treatment you gave Halo: CE, then you would make so many people VERY happy indeed, (and you’d bet a butt-load o’ money, isn’t that what you really want?) AND you would regain the trust of at least HALF of the population you drove away with Halo 4!

The original far cry hd was just announced. If far cry can get it… Halo 2 should as well. Bad move 343. Bad move. You want fan base? You want to make money? You want people to come back to halo that left for cod? Do you want to get out of bungies shadow and be able to say world domination without people laughing at you?

Sigh… A thread locked for supposedly being too similar to this, and then sent to this thread (that’s only had 8 comments in a week), which is just complaining about the fact that there’s not going to be a H2A, as opposed to one that had two pages within a few hours with the intended purpose of discussing and exploring the possible reasons WHY there isn’t going to be a H2A. I totally agree. thank you. i grew up playing halo 2, on Relic. My favorite map of all time. out of 5 of my halo friends 4 would get it. I Promise you this would be a money maker and you would get the trust and more importantly the respect of us True halo fans.
I’d love a campaign with better graphics, but I prefer new Halo games more. I still have Halo 2 so I’m fine either way.
If you don’t make this, y’all are failures. Just saying. Halo is overkill at this point, so just give us what we really want! HALO 2 REMAKE! It’s better to remember the past halo experiences and relive those in HD. It would bring more happiness than people complaining about Halo 5 and Halo 6. Just do it. Please. I look at news on this topic everyday at n4g.com. Please…343 if you can read this, listen to it, breath it in and accept this task. Plus do it like this.

Why Halo 3 Anniversary? Even after Halo 5 (or whatever it’s called) it won’t be that old. And it’s already in HD. What would they change?

There’s a difference, but not your difference.
The difference is between listening and caring.
Is 343 listening, yes. Of course they’re, they can clearly see the threads here.
Do they care? Most likely not.
Just because 343 can see a bunch of the same topic in the forum doesn’t mean they care.
They won’t decide to invest millions of dollars and other resources into a game based upon the Halo 2 forum subsection.
I mean do you honestly think they don’t know that some people want it, do you think this hasn’t come up multiple times in 343 chats?
