What are you guys gonna hate next? Jetpack? Dropshield? You might as well just throw away armor capabilities all together! You guys have no idea how helpful sprint is. Back when Halo 1 and 2 were out everyone wanted sprint, now all of you ungrateful babies are crying like a bunch of babies.

Most people are against sprint in it’s current form. Not against sprint altogether.
And I’m sorry that we can actually articulate the reasons why sprint is bad but you can’t come up with anything other than “everyone wanted it” and “it helps me run away from my terrible choices!”

Dropshields are still -Yoink!-, if it’s a one time use pickup.
Sprint is helpful for melee rushing which is just for people who can’t shoot.

1.I always have and always will hate the jetpack.
2.No AAs sounds like a great idea.
3.I don’t remember ever hearing anyone say that they wanted to sprint in Halo before Reach.

Please take a look at this sprint versus sprint poll and rethink what you said about “everyone” wanting sprint. Of course is this only representing the forums but, if you picture it in a bigger aspect, like the HOLE halo community i don’t think the results would have been any different. Go to the MLG forums, youtube, or ask any of your friends. Most people say NO to sprint.

Most people I know say yes, they want sprint. You are right about it only representing the forums, like I said earlier I know a lot of people who play Reach but dont have Live or a computer so their vote is irrelevent in most peoples eyes.
Sprint is BAD. It lets players survive situations where they screwed up and should be punished by dying. And it enables the infamous Sprint + Beatdown, which literally ruins all chance close quarters combat has of taking any level of skill to win.
And I don’t like ANY Armor Abilities, each one presents a major flaw in gameplay, well, aside from maybe the Hologram.
Jetpacks basically render cover useless on any map without a roof, and allow you to start cross-mapping as soon as you spawn.
Armor Lock need not be explained.
Active Camo basically lets a half decent sniper score a free perfection whenever he wants.
Drop Shields are infinite Bubble Shields, Bubble Shields always sucked.
And Evade is like Sprint on Steroids.
Armor abilities ALL suck, they ruin the idea of a level playing field, and remove from the whole POINT of Halo, which is shooting people.
