I’m just gonna copy+paste what I posted on r/halo a while ago, since I think it could be interesting for you guys as well. Personally this is the thing that I would most like seeing in maybe not Halo Infinite, but in a future installment. what other game modes would you wanna see in the future? no matter how farfetched they are.

> Personally I would love to take part in a ground war between the UNSC and covenant, being able to play as a marine, a pilot, an ODST and maybe even have a few Spartans on the ground. And on the other side be able to play as the various covenant species, from a simple grunt, to a hunter. Even deploying vehicles on the ground from the series. I can picture various gameplay modes, from stuff like evacuating a city, sort of like Arcadia in halo wars or new Alexandria in reach, to securing a forunner artefact, even centering a game mode around taking down a scarab or a big unit. And there are also A LOT of possible locations for this. From the streets of New Alexandria, to a forerunner shield world,to the ark. Maybe even partake in wars shown in the game, like the ones in the hall wars series. Just the thought of dropping from a ship into an active warzone inside an ODST drop por sounds amazing. Like even stuff like getting a crew inside a pelican and boarding a covenant carrier would be a dream. Maybe even stuff like surviving hoards of flood as another mode.
