You try to explain “thinking outside the box”, and you think it means trying dumb things, you don’t even get that term, (its really not that difficult, it means trying NEW things, not the same nonsense used in board games.
> > > You now want to say that a vehicle will explode if the bolts are ripped out of steel (and you have no clue how much force it would take)… I started to respond about how your entire comment is just wrong, but I really don’t care do this with you. It truly is just a waste of time. Your comments don’t even make sense, you’re rambling, and you honestly didn’t make a single good point in all of what should have been several paragraphs.

> > You talk evidence like you can’t punch a vehicle to pieces until you can prove it’s physically possible, like reality can touch video games. If we let “evidence” determine video games, none of the games you love would exist, including Halo. You want evidence? We can punch a scorpion to pieces, a wraith, why can’t we punch a warthog to death? Even if it’s not the way I saw it, it’s still possible by Halo lore. That catching a warthog thing, though, stays. You can argue and say no all you want, that won’t change my opinion.

> > Hey before I go, how dumb does a mini series based off irrelevant spartan deployments sound? Things that don’t really affect the mainline game, but are still pretty cool to have, call the placeholder name Halo Legends. Not an original idea, but it’s something the series hasn’t REALLY done, like with a passion, I’m sure they’ve done that with one game or another, and I bet you’ll name it, but something for the FPS world. That could help move the story away from Chief when we get “sick of him”. Season 1 would be 1 campaign, season 2 could be another, 3, 4, etc. Might also be fun to see what fans could come up with, have full mod support, fun stuff like that. I’ve also been thinking about the spartans we could have. A Marine, an ODST, a Spartan I, II, III, IV, hell, let’s intro Spartan Vs, a replacement for the Spartan IV project based on new anti-Flood “body mods”. All of these being customizable to the last detail. Individual shoulders, wrists, legs, give us the ability to remove armor from each category for a “lighter” feel. Imagine having no armor on the suit. Aside from the preset patters, imagine having the ability to draw your own on Waypoint. Relax, if people get nasty, it would definitely be cut. Oh, the thoughts! By now I can’t stop finding something to ramble about so Imma go.

> You can disable vehicles by hitting them. You can’t make them explode, or punch them into pieces, and you can’t do it with a single punch. Its the equivalent of saying, “I’m going to go skydiving without a parachute. When I get to the ground, I’m just going to kick a hole in it, or tuck and roll.”

> Why do you keep trying to “think outside the box”? You’re not, but you claim you are. Would you like coordinating socks too? I’m guessing you stay occupied with minecraft. Many of us would rather PLAY a game that is challenging, and not just time consuming.

> Halo is the most successful game series on Xbox and has been one of the star games since it came out almost 20 years ago? They haven’t made any major changes, and apparently they don’t need to. Its not about creating a new game, that people have to learn how to play every time a new one is released. Its about being able to jump right in, and enjoy a new story line that keeps it fresh.
1st, no major changes? The story is what keeps it fresh? To a point the story thing is correct, but look at what changes have been made over time. Dual wielding, equipment, assassination animations, armor abilities, etc. And you say they havent made any major changes, look around, people loved dual Needlers or a P. Pistol and a Magnum (OP as both those combos were… To a point, of course). Equipment is one thing people are excited for in Infinite, armor abilities were what made Reach it’s own unique experience (although 343 broke them in 4), assassination animations, although slow, are still fun to commit to most, since it is basically an insult equivalent, there are so many changes that went unnoticed by you.
You play the drama queen role of an idea, taking advice way too far, or trying to deflect the ideas with realism, or an opinion like, “the story is what keeps it fresh”. I just said even if it’s not how I initially thought of it, but some form of it. Keep in mind, it’s not just me with a few bad ideas, Bungie, 343, Rockstar, any developer will tell you that over half the new ideas in a game gets thrown out and is never seen by the community. You act like developing something is as easy as 123, but it’s not, it takes collaboration, feedback, eventually you might throw those ideas out yourself, etc. Maybe next time just say, “That’s a bad idea in my opinion, here’s why…” and leave it at that. Maybe someone will back it, maybe someone would back the dev, but being an overall -Yoink!- about it doesn’t speak dev language, in fact, that’s what starts crap like this. Let idiots like myself have our ideas, and we might throw them out the window ourselves, but trying to snag it will convince us to hold on longer.
Back on the warthog thing, though, something I never understood is why you can beat a scorpion to death, but why it’s a dumb idea to do the same to a hog or mongoose. Maybe someone can mount the warthog and choose to either hijack it like normal, or 'nade/punch the crap out of it like a scorpion. The same can be said about why hijacking a scorpion is apparently dumb. Some form of beating vehicles to death, along with hijacking things you couldn’t hijack before.
Finally, back to the skill weapons thing. I was horsing around with Halo 5’s weapon pad glitch, and when I brought the Heartseeker custom with the SpLaser, it gave me an idea of what a skill weapon could be. You could use standard ammo, or use the full battery to power up a charge to fire a “rocket”. The more charged it is, the more powerful the weapon is. Be careful, charge it too long and the “rocket” will backfire, killing you. If you DO obtain maximum charge, you could potentially take out a couple of hunters with splash damage, but all this is just an IDEA, and shouldn’t take a full on, “You can’t do that, no, nah uh, that’s dumb, lose the idea, bro.” Just one no will do.
