I think that it would be cool to have a long term medal progression system. Examples would be “play for xxx hours” and “obtain xxx kills”. These can then be a part of a tier system as well and the badges can be displayed on your profile. The progression should never reset as this would show off some cool stats and long term accomplishments between players!
It would be way cool as well if players could display these medals on a “dress military uniform” type of customization options to show off impressive accomplishments, which would mirror real world military uniforms.

“The Wall” have your deployable shield absorb a direct hit from an explosive I.E. a rocket launcher, scorpion shot, or banshee bomb
“Power Play” Capture 3 flags in a row
“Laughter with an S” Exterminate the enemy team twice in one life
“Hug me” or “Cmere, you” Melee a player while stuck with a grenade
“Beat Blade” get 15 kills with an Energy Sword in one life
“Bonk” Kill someone with an energy sword handle/powerless Gravity Hammer
“Spree of Spree’s” get 5 "Killing Spree"s in one match (can be Sword Sprees, sniper sprees, or otherwise, but cant include things like Running Riot)

i like the medals that are difficult to earn especially the cmere one
