Melee Combat; It’d be insanely cool to have actual fist-to-fist fights, with screen-shaking and controller-vibrating punches, with blocking, but first of all the melee damage would have to be minimized, but you can still get one-hit back hits, but head-on fist-fights, melees won’t two hit fully-shielded Spartans, instead requires at most-5 hits to kill your opponent. Of course, melee speed would have to be doubled. Blocking should let you counter-attack , so that players aren’t just spamming punches without consequences, if your attack is blocked, block, simple. And parrying, this would be cool, honestly, you’d guy’s might as well make a party game mode with melee fighting being the only fighting, but back to parrying, obviously, you have to time your attack to match the window that a normal parry would be, block-and-attack (Left trigger) + (Right trigger) equals, a punch that equals that of two fist hits, which gives players who were unaware of their melee attacker, a fighting chance, and not just, “who ever attacks first wins!!!” Which I’ve always despised, like, how is it fair that this guy gets to kill me with a battle rifle when we both have battle rifles, merely because he shot first? Blocking should fix this and give ambushed players a fighting chance. Oops I was talking about parrying, but you can’t parry a bullet, flashes back to plasma pistol reflection in the multiplayer trailer well, maybe you can, but, you still can’t parry it in the literal sense, you should be able to parry your opponent and deal twice-fold what they did to you, and give a fair fight, “Sure he hit you first, but you had the opportunity to parry his other attacks, and you didn’t take that opportunity.”
Edit: Also, aren’t Spartans trained for hand-to-hand combat? Why wasn’t this already a thing in the other halo games? I’d love to know why no-one has implemented this into a halo game, but yeah, this would give more immersion to people who love sneaking up on other people, instead of the other halo games, “He hit you first but because his fists take half of your total hp, and that he has full hp, you will lose, unless you can manage to get away from him.” I’d love to see an assassination attempt foiled because the assassin couldn’t get a solid back hit on his target, “Oops I missed my melee attack and now I have to hit him 4 more times in order to kill my target, hopefully he doesn’t have the combat skills to parry my attacks and kill me instead.” And I guess you’d get the ability to switch to fists by holding Y or whatever it is on PS4/5, and you can “lock-on” which would let players stay focused on their enemy, instead of letting camera sensitivity ruin a punch, I’m sure you could take some inspiration from medieval fighting games such as Chivalry 2 and Mord(haough) I don’t know how to spell it.

SWORD COMBAT!!! I forgot about that, obviously, sword combat needs work, blocking and parring needs to be added, to make sword-fighting more than just two swords bouncing off of each other, don’t get me wrong, I thought the tension between who would get the first and last hit-in a sword fight was pretty cool, but there needs to be something else to it, these two concepts would fix that.
Let me know if you guys support this.

better yet, for splattering an enemy vehicle. How wraiths use to easily be able to slam ghosts into hell. I remember splattering a banshee during Long Night Of Solace on Reach. Lol, I was so confused!

Kill the player who lunges at you with an energy sword right at the moment that they kill you too. (not like Bulltrue, since you would unfortunately die as well)
Medal should be the skull on Emile-A239’s helmet.
Dont know how rare or common that would be, but I think it would be a really neat reference for those who Remember Reach. <3
Medal called “finders keepers” grappling a weapon right before the enemy tries to grab it. Hahah not today.

New medal, eh? Personally I’d like to see a special grenade kill medal. Maybe call it “Bounced!” for killing someone from a special grenade bounce off a wall or donk them with the grenade to kill them before it explodes.
