I would like to see a game mode in infinite with 100 vs. 100 on the open world map (UNSC vs. Covenant). Kinda like in warzone in halo 5 you can capture bases and claim them but halo in Halo infinite it would be at a much greater scale.
You can spawn tons of vehicles and weapons with points with you will be earning over time. And to speed things up you can earn more by completing the objective, getting kills, etc (like REQ points). There will be a abundance of vehicles ranging from a mongoose to a scarab and weapons ranging from magnum to AA gun. All weapons(and variants), abilities, and vehicles from the past will be be possible to get and future items like the grappling hook.

They have mentioned classic arena modes and big social modes. Both these I think are good. I would like to see a build on warzone with more players, and much better maps as well as a large scale 32 player or more infection mode
Yeah a 100 Vs 100 epic game mode would be amazing.
I’d love a mode like Call of Duty’s Ground War.
A base each, 5 zones to capture and your team can spawn at any zone you have control of. If it was truly huge these zones could be built like mini maps. Imagine the centre zone being a midship remake and you have to slay everyone on their to control the zone. Would be super cool. If the zone is contested, you can’t spawn their. You can also spawn on your squad of four players if they are not in danger.
The mode could have a range of vehicles. I’d never considered the scarab but that would be amazing! Maybe have it be AI controlled but have it as a moving point! Having less precision weapons in big team games would be good just to force players together more. Modern big team has just been cross map shooting and it sucks a bit of the charm out of it. Having lots of heavy machinery spawning to counter would be good too. You don’t want one team dominating with a tank and nothing to fight back. Similarly it’s a bit boring when a tank can just be shredded by a few players with DMRs.
I wouldn’t mind seeing a Battle Royale, if it’s done well it would be very fun.
Invasion was great so as someone else said that on a mug bigger scale would be awesome. With more variety to the capture mechanics of round 1-3.
I would love to see a giant king of the hill circle. The map could literally be a huge circle, thing 3D final destination from super smash bros. Every time a player dies, they lose time in the hill, but respawn 5-10 seconds later in the hill. Random weapons could fall into the map periodically. So essentially it is a big game of slayer as whichever team stays alive the longest wins but I like the idea of it being a huge game of king of the hill. Maybe even have an oddball in the mix to get bonus points. Would only work if it was like 20 Vs 20 though for pure chaos.
More one life gametypes would be great too. Gears 5 has a fantastic game called Dodgeball. It would be a great new addition to Breakout. If you kill a player a teamamte respawns. The back and forth can be thrilling from the jaws of defeat.

Classic with no sprint or abilities. BR starts. 4 of each grenade.
In custom matches I’d like the ability to set handicaps to players. The group I play with each week has a wide range of ability and it would be great to even the battle.
Or even just a game style where the leader is automatically penalised (becomes worth more points or gets less points per kill depending on how far in front they are).
And a bench for when you too many players. Eg. If my custom group is 11… I would like to still be able to play 4 v 4 games and maps with players on the bench who are rotated in / out with each death.
