Halo has so many in game medals for doing a veriety of things, get 40 kills in a game without dying “Unfrigginbelievable”, kill an enemy with the impact of a grenade “Fastball”, 15 kills as a flood “Mmm Brains”, the list goes on!
So I would like to know from the Halo community, if you had the opportunity to add your own medal to Halo’s tally, what would you call it and how would you obtain such a medal?
“UNFORGIVABLE”-for getting 0 kills.
I’ve got some ideas:
“Ghost Busted!”
Stop hammer time - kill 2 players with 1 hammer swing.
Backatcha - deflect a plasma grenade with hammer which then sticks to enemy player.
Martial artist - deflect sword swing with melee.
Duelist - deflect sword with sword.
Squish - kill another player by dropping a tank on them while driving it.
Bird meets plane - splatter an airborne player.
There’s a few, may thinknof others later.

The Bird Meets Plane one made me laugh, that sounds pretty cool, same with the Backatcha medal, that definitely would be something to strive for

That would probably be really hard to do, but it sounds like a good challenge!
“Anchor”: Coming in dead last in a game.
Halo CE ranks each player from 1th to last, regardless of what team you’re on. I think last place should get an “Anchor” medal
So i just add a few.
Here’s John(ny) - shoot or melee enemy player through weak obstacle.
Et tu brute? - backstab player with brute shot.
David vs goliath - headshot an enemy player driving a tank.
They see me rollin’… - splatter enemy player with a warthog that is on fire.
Smells like bacon - kill enemy player that is on warthog with flamethrower.

I was making fun of the fact that you pretty much get a medal for doing anything in 343’s games. in CE and H2, you get a medal for grabbing the flag, you get a medal for killing someone who recently killed a teammate(practically every kill), you get one when you get a kill after dying 3+ times, you might as well get one for walking into your/the enemy’s base.
Your first suggestion sounds more like a medal that already existed in H4, like ‘flag master’ or ‘flag champion.’ It might as well be called one of those, unless you’re referring to Reach’s Stockpile-specific medals, then it could work. The second suggestion works, though, if you want medals to be realistic or something…
Maybe have more combo based medals like if you kill two or more people with a binary rifle it says vaporiser, or bring back “walking tank” when you take out multiple enemies with a rocket/grenade weapon. Also something like eagle vision when you takeout a player behind cover with the hydra, just small scale things that could make the rounds more interesting. Maybe even have a few references like, “send me out with a bang” if you kill a tank with a Spartan laser.

You sound so dissatisfied with the medal system and i love that xD but it could already be a medal, who knows, also I admit, I didn’t pick up on the sarcasm

I think that would be a cool achievement actually (if it isnt already) except it’s for killing 3 Tanks in a row with a Spartan Laser!
More feat medals would be nice like Combat Evolved or Extermination. Maybe one for the sniper where you get all head shots within one clip or delivering the flag/bomb after a killing spree.

First I want a bunch removed. There are too many unnecessary medals, and medals that I want added back in. I want a new killing spree medal above 40 and new post-killionare multkills.
I like a lot of these listed.
So let’s start off with the easy one…
Get A Life- 45 assassinations without dying
Please go to another lobby- finish with 0 kills and at least 14 deaths in a ranked game (sad part it I would have about 5 of these medals)
Just…stop- get a killionaire with one grenade
That must hurt- get ninjad by an enemy player
Karma is a -yoink- get killed by a player you teabagged
Your a -yoink!- kill the player that teabagged you

Yeah that makes more sense to me. Maybe have it linked to an achievement; enter the enemy base, kill at least one enemy, steal the objective and get out of the base without dying.
