What new factions would you like to see

In all my years of halo, I had no clue that these were new factions, just gives me an excuse to play the MCC campaign to get to the bottom of this. Here I thought something on the lines of the ‘meddlers’ would be a new faction(s).

I want to fight the Banished in first-person. Those Brutes are like orcs from World of Warcraft. They seem terrifying, violent, and unhinged. A formidable foe.

This is off topic, but I would like to see a mission where the Flood come back and all of the sudden, the Prometheans are on your side.

I got the mental image of a Knight or something pinning you A’la Halo 4 (But actually about to do something other than scream), only to get attacked by Flood as the other Prometheans all turn and ignore you in favor of fighting the Flood.

You being Chief, obviously.

I know it’s just my opinion, but I’d prefer to never see the prometheans again (at least in the style 343 made).

This could bring back some of the awesome three-front fight scenes from the older games. Having Prometheans fight alongside you reminds me of when you were fighting the Flood and the sentinels came out and started hammering them with you.

As for my wish list:

  • Return of the Flood - The Banished - Insurrection (this faction gets a lot of coverage in the books but next to nothing in the games)

Covenant splinter where they take fanatical to a new level(lots of suicide units)

Would love to get a survival gamemode with the flood.

I doubt we get humans as enemies in Hi considering we’re on a ring. Also wasn’t the main force of the insurrection disband in 2520-something due to the Human-Covenant war? I know they were still active until before HCE, but their forces should have been largely reduced if I remember correctly. :thinking:

I’m out of the extended lore for years now, so I’m actually curious!

Oh, and to get back IT I would love to see the following factions and enemies:

  • UNSC/SOS Coalition - Cortana’s Covenant and Promethean faction - Banished - Flood - Installation 07 Enforcers (with new unis) - FaunaMaybe I’m asking too much, but if Hi is really an open world it wouldn’t be impossible. Crossing fingers it ain’t going to be yet another shared world shooter though. I’m a bit sick and tired of games like a service…
