What new biome you like to see for the first dlc?

I would like to see a Rainforest as new biome in the first dlc. There would be Morolath(blind wolves)in it.And they would attack friend and foe equally!

Rainforest, Swamp, Snowy Forest, Inside the ring, or even Banished ship interiors.

A banished training camp would be a nice locale to enjoy in PvP

Swamp have already been confirmed in the Ask343 about Zeta Halo but I agree with Snowy Forest or Mountains.
Inside the ring would basically be inside Forerunner structures or caves and both have been confirmed in the Ask343.
Banished ship interior would be cool for a mission similar to Truth and Reconciliation.
Rainforest would also be nice.
If I had to add one other biome, it would be desert, kinda like on the Ark.

A desert of white sand and black rock.

Not going to lie, one of those Ark base environment from Halo Wars with that weird coral flora.

Rugged rocks with lava flows, Forerunner structures within the cliff face, and an easter egg of a burnt Spartan with one prosthetic arm left reaching for an energy sword hilt on the shore of the lava.

And another where it is a robotic Spartan arm doing a thumbs up from the lava.

NIEVE Y LLUVIA!!!

A flood infested snow biome with forerunner structures built into cliff sides. Alternatively having a flood infestation deep inside the ring would be neat.

Would I be in the wrong to think there would be a snowy place on release. I mean its all forested, forests and snow kinda go together

I would really like to see a variety of biomes in the base game. At a minimum I would like to see desert and snow in a $60 campaign that’s marketed as being bigger than the previous two combined. Seems like a bad sign that at this point we’re expecting biodiversity to come only as DLC.

Snow biome just like in 2 Two Betrayals!

I’ve always had a soft spot for snow in games. Maybe a biome filled with massive mountains and caves would be cool.

They have said there won’t be any snowy weather in the base release, which for some reason has convinced everyone that they won’t have any snow at all on the map.

I would be very surprised if we don’t see a snowy mountain top part of a level, even if it isn’t in a blizzard.

That said, I don’t know what Biome I want for the 1st DLC since I don’t know what we are going to end up with in the base game.

Personally? To contrast better from the PNW biome that’s going to apparently be the main one during the campaign, I’d go with something more dramatically different than a Rainforest or Swamp biome. I also feel like dense rainforest and swamp environments don’t lend themselves to the openness that Infinite seems to be going for with its level design.

I think it’d be rad to see something more based on the American Southwest in the future- Saguaro cactuses, crazy redrock canyons, buttes, plateaus, and spires, and the whole nine yards (with ample Forerunner structures above and below ground to explore, of course). We got a somewhat cool take on this aesthetic in Halo 4 during the “Reclaimer,” mission, but I think it’s a scalable biome that could really leverage Infinite’s semi-open world format to its advantage.

Overall, I think the second biome introduced should ideally provide some solid contrast and variety to the first, so something desert themed is my personal pick.

You’re all being confused by what Infinite is. It’s not a live service game where the only setting is Zeta Halo and we’re staying here for the next decade with new stuff being added to the ring over the years. Infinite is a hub/platform for all future Halo campaign and multiplayer content. think of it more like MCC 2.0 rather than something like Destiny.

I look at it as Halo meets Borderlands 3. Travel the stars to a few key locations in space and explore the open worlds they provide.

No reskins of maps. Add something new that will be iconic. For the love of the guardians, let’s not have a map cluttered either. I get timberland flashbacks on Reach with jetpacks. You can’t see flying above the foliage.

Halo 5 was a great game.
Halo 5 Guardians on the other hand was a horrible nightmare. Honestly, we need to find Rick and ask for his inter-dimensional gun so we can get Halo 5 back.
