The Manits(Mech)- I can’t begin to tell you how much I hate the map Ragnorok. Because all it is, who can control the Mantis the best. NO MATTER WHAT GAME TYPE IT IS! Whoever has the better Mantis control will win. It does way to much, it has way to much health. It takes more then 2 spartan lasers to kill it. It’s nearly impossible to board it.
The Binary Rifle- This is personally my favorite gun in the game. But I fell like its a little to strong. I mean you get like 6 shots in the gun. And the Binary Rifle is a 1 SK. That means I can get up to like 6 kills easily. I feel like it should have less ammo in its clip.
Instant re-spawn- This by far is the dumbest thing! Does it really hurt that much to put in a 2-3 second spawn delay? I mean I’ll 1v1 a guy kill him, have him re-spawn and kill me since my shields are still down from me killing him. The instant re-spawn is really dumb, especially since the maps are pretty small. And it only takes about 5 shots in the head to kill you. Just add a 2-3 second spawn delay, its really not that hard to do.
Thrust Armor Ability- This ability has so much potential, but how far you go in it really makes it almost about useless. I’m not asking for like a huge change on the thrust. Just make it so you move like an extra frame or two. Or make it where its the same range but a little less like it is in campaign. But to get that max range you have to hold X instead of just pressing it. The longer you hold the farther you go till you hit the max range on it.
I don’t find a problem with Mantis IF you can take it out. Most people don’t use Plasma Pistols (lol Boltshot noobs on BTB) to disable the rather slow moving target. Granted you can’t have the thing looking at you when you fire it off but once you do, it’s toast.
In the original Val, there was no Mantis and yet teams could still set up on you and keep your team on the spawn areas. This hardly anything new and should be expected. Don’t lose your Mantis/ Banshee
Binary Rifle: It’s extremely powerful i am not going to lie but that’s the appeal of the gun. I don’t think it needs to be nerfed on a functional level but rather make it even more rare. Sometimes, i get about 2 guys with Binary and another with a human sniper. It’s crazy.
I am pretty sure to why it has so much ammo is because the Ammo support upgrade. That needs a nerf and i’ll cover as to why.
Thruster Pack; I love using to dodge and look cool on the battlefeild but the War Games Version needs a serious buff in the distance covered. One use is enough to maintain skill usage and smart thinking but don’t make it like Reach Evade. Evade in that game reduced hitbox and covered way too much ground.
Ammo Mod: Seriously. This is incredibly useful for weapons on Spawn but i don’t think that it should give you extra ammo for ordnance drops (both of them). There has to be some measure of skill involved using power weapons; which should be balanced out by the limited ammo they can carry. Therefore, they should not be affected by the Ammo mod.
Does it not sound more balance with a Binary Rifle with 4 shots rather than 6+? 4 Rockets instead of 8?
Yes the Mantis can be countered by a Plasma Pistol. But I feel like how much damage it can take needs to go down. I’v seeing people get Perfections just cause they used that all game.
The Binary you make a good point. That making it spawn less would work great. But you brought up the Ammo Mod. Which is why I say bring the clip down a bit. Instead of 6 I say bring it down to 4. Which you had the same idea.
The Ammo Mod is a problem I don’t think it is really necessary for it to give more ammo to the power weapons. The point of them having low ammo is cause well they are strong weapons! If used right they can get lots of kills. Using the ammo mod to make it less punishing for the people who have no clue how to even use those guns in the first place.
