We’re a few weeks into the game and we’ve obviously all noticed some things that seem to be overpowered or underpowered. I personally think that sticky grenades need to be buffed incredibly based on the fact that it’s like throwing a marshmallow at someone, but I’d love to hear what you guys think needs to be buffed or nerfed at this point in the game.
TL;DR: What needs to be buffed, and what needs to be nerfed?
dmr is OP because it’s proven to have a quicker kill time than the BR at point-blank range, which is not intended by 343. They need to either buff the BR or nerf the dmr to correct this.
I can’t tell you how many times I have had to stick a damn mantis just to kill it. Same goes for many other vehicles. I have had many issues with grenades, but if you stick a ghost, it should be a one-hit-kill.
Nerf: DMR (obviously) into 6sk or lower the RoF. Also lower the bulletmagnetism and aimassist. Boltshot decrease the effective range and extend the charge time. At its current state it drains the shields completely at 10m and one-shot kills within 7m. For comparison the shotgun and scattergun barely drains a third of the shield at 10m.
Buff: Carbine into 7sk Plasma Pistol into 10sk and 15+ shots to overheat.
Other than that I’m pretty pleased with the weapon balance.

Buffing the BR wouldn’t solve the problem, it would only make matters worse. Either nerf the DMR and slightly tweak some other weapons that needs buffing, OR, leave the DMR as it is and buff EVERY other weapon including the BR.
Nerf nothing but the spawn rate of the Binary Rifle and Incendiary Cannon. Maybe nerf the Incendiary Cannon starting ammo to 1 shot only when picked up off a map.
Buff the Carbine to a 6SK and BR to a 12-bullet kill(4SK).
