What needs to be in Halo 6

  • A longer campaign with proper missions (those walk around missions were just disjointed and the lack of blue team missions was just disappointing)

  • More character development (Some cutscenes felt cut short but mainly I didn’t really get to know much of the any other characters, it’s a shame really)

  • Splitscreen (Already bored of playing and it’s cause some very awkward conversations to explain how the new and improved halo doesn’t support it)

  • Playable elites (This was a very popular request yet got ignored)

  • Firefight (Also a popular request that got ignored)

  • Human air vehicles (Again, requested but we got the phaeton so at least we got an entire new vehicle I guess)

  • All modes to release at launch (On a game that we know is not going to have features such as splitscreen or firefight I think not releasing forge at launch, very little multiplayer playlists at launch, whilst lacking casual playlist games, only hindered the experience.)

  • Keep warzone, probably the best and main feature that is keeping halo 5 afloat. I applaud the customisation and such but maybe an easier system to try and unlock everything, it’s going to take several hundred hours of gameplay to unlock what is needed.

This is just my opinion guys, when Halo 5 released I was over the moon but there were a lot of shortcomings. Given how long this game take to made it probably came out with half of what I was hoping from a halo game. Fingers crossed they move forward for the next game.

Halo 5 hasn’t been out two weeks and people are already wanting this and that in Halo 6.

Because Halo 5 didnt even though people wanted it and theres no chance itll magically appear. So can we have HALO in Halo 6? not the ring but the actual HALO that was every other game created. Good idea? maybe?

How about we focus on Halo 5 since the game is barely 2 weeks old mkay?

But Halo 5 is finished… Aside from a few maps, forge, and cosmetics none of these other things are going to make the game.

Well most of it is what we expected in wanted in Halo 5, yet we didn’t get it.

Mostly agree, I just jave doubts about Elites, because I’m sure 343 will mostly keep into this ((awesome) direction for gameplay, that doesn’t fit with them ._.

My list is:

  • Firefight (With boss waves and other high challanges to unlock stuff like: Pelicans transporting marines, ODSTs drops, Longsword strafing runs. And it should also have the possibility to choose between the Covenant, the Flood, the Prometheans, or two/all of them - on separate waves. And at last it should also be forgable.) - Full armor customization like Reach - Custom games browser - Weather and daytime in Forge (probably confirmed if I’m right) - Brutes, Skirmishers and Drones and all of the Brutes weapons and vehicles - Both the Jackals art style (they would be awesome to be together with the same armor style) - The Falcon/Hornet or a new UNSC air vehicle - The Locust from Halo Wars - Mark IV armor (confirmed, but not yet in the game) - Sandtrap - Needler Rifle- Still hope some of this stuff makes it into Halo 5…

If they want to grow the franchise they need more than taking out and swapping in. They really need to build on what Halo has established. I love Halo 5 but with the whole upgrade in hardware it seems they took a lot of backward steps.

I’m still hoping for most of these to make it to Halo 5 also. I just don’t get why they didn’t go all out. Like surely they realised that areas were lacking. Even some of the UNSC air vehicles. They exist, they just haven’t put them in for god knows whatever reason.

Firefight

Firefight or Spartan Ops.
For those that don’t want to just do PvP or re-run the campaign missions. Those two matchmaking playlists were a lot of fun.
Warzone doesn’t compare because frankly, I hardly see anyone on my teams going for the boss’s that spawn, the mobs are so far and few between they may as well not be there, and there are only 3 maps. Total.

It needs enemy depth, and firefight.

I’m tired of always fighting the same boss, 6 times in the storyline, and every damn match of Warzone. The dogs, too. I’ve killed thousand of those dogs.

I would love to see Elite, or the Flood. Perhaps some more amazing things.

Please don’t start this vocal minority claim especially since I doubt you have any proof on the matter. People didn’t ask for a less than satisfying campaign and to be given very limited content at release, unless you can point me towards a thread where people want less of a game then I’d gladly apologise. Don’t get me wrong though, I love Halo 5, but they missed out on a lot of opportunity and made a small amount of backward steps. I suppose if I am part of a minority then so is nearly every reviewer and every person I talk to. I never take critics that seriously but when they point out aspects that are legitimate I don’t ignore what is said,. For example; 15 missions with only 3 containing master chief and 3 being runarounds. I didn’t mind the runarounds but I don’t think they pass as the minimum 15min length missions.

Halo 5 has a couple of shortcomings and in some aspects ignored what some fans wanted. Now if you want to ignore it and think that this is the perfect game then I won’t stop you from thinking that, it’s your opinion. But every game needs some sort of criticism and feedback to improve. For example; the turn around on local multiplayer has prevented me playing it most days. Splitscreen is another argument all together but it’s a legitimate one depending how you play. Even after forge comes out and all the free DLC comes out it won’t change the campaign (Which is awesome but felt like it cut corners and was indeed too short).

Again it feels like the game falls short but I’m not denying it is still a great game.

There are more warzone maps coming free of charge.
But I definitely agree with firefight and Spartan ops. For me Spartan ops was sort of mediocre, but it almost felt like a spin off campaign which made me feel like I got a lot more out of Halo 4.
If they included one or the other, or better yet both, it would have made it a more fulfilling game. However the drop of local multiplayer would have made those modes slightly less likeable if you prefer to play that way.

I welcomed the bossfight and it fitted in. But apparently with warden having a million bodies or whatever they should have chucked in different types of him for variety.

But yes certainly would have liked firefight to appear. They have the set up there even if they just used the warzone maps and scaled them down. I hope they bring more enemies in for the future as well as vehicles and so on too.

Halo 6 definitely needs a stronger campaign. Firefight needs to be included, and I also think there should be more weapons added, loadout and otherwise.

Less Locke, more Chief.

At least make it more like 50/50 or even 60/40 play time between them.
