Thank you 343 for this amazing game, and I really REALLY hope you read my post and take some things into consideration.
This is absolutely my favorite Halo so far. This game is absolutely amazing. I mostly played 3 and Reach but I do have good experience, I’ve been playing video games all my life and ik what im talking about. These are real problems I have with the game.
First off I want to say that Infinity Slayer is the only game mode I really like, because it offers the great weapon system while staying balanced. My biggest problem with it though, is that in one map(Im never great with names) there are vehicles…??? I do not understand what compelled 343 to put these imbalanced vehicles in this map!!! Vehicles are a huge problem, expecially in a trying-to-be-balanced game mode, and my reason for hating a few of the game modes. Vehicles are ridiculously imbalanced and need to be killed a LOT easier but nades and bullets. Do not tell me “then why dont you use them” because I DO use them so that I dont just give the other team an unfair advantage, but I feel horrible when I do. I honestly dont care for the “fancy” game modes, but thats just opinion.
Secondly I would like to talk about grenade projectiles. When it comes to halo, the one thing I always love are stickies. In this game, stickies REALLY need to be looked at. I have hit multiple people with stickies that ended up literally bouncing off of them. My sticky projectile also tends to act really funny. It isnt just “getting used to” it really is off and needs to be looked at. I also feel that grenades need to have their blast radius increased. The “perk” for increasing grenade blast radius should not be something required to have for just and average blast radius. If its imbalanced after the increase, then just take the perk out its not worth ruining the game for. I cant talk for other grenades because this is the only one i really use unless i pick them up.
Also when I am picking my weapons, dont just give me 3 seconds then automatically put me in with the first one if i didnt select one. This deserved its own paragraph to show you how annoying this is.
Other then these two major flaws, and the minor one, I cant say there is much to fix with this game. I would do things like, adding deaths to score screen(i know you can check after game). Showing what we can unlock at all times instead of unlocking the ability to unlock it(that gets annoying and I want to see everything I can get). Adding swat game mode(always fun idk why its not on main list). Spreading out unlocks so I dont get nothing for a few levels then I get 2 guns at another level. Change the look of the promethean sniper or light rifle. I havent used them much but they look way too similar(i could be tripping out about this one because like i said i havent used them both much, but i have mistaken them for one another) and changing the look on shotgun/rail gun for ordinance(look insanely similar to me).
