We’ve all been online and heard someone blasting rap or metal through the headset. It seems like a lot of people listen to music while playing, either for fun or because it actually pumps them up and improves their play.
For me, the song from the last campaign level is just so heroic sounding, I’ve never died in the Mantis while it’s playing. Well, maybe once in a blue moon, but never ever between 2:19-3:19 or 4:04-5:12 in the linked video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yf-AiCfg1gc

I really need to pick up the Halo 4 Soundtrack. Love it and I could barely hear it during the campaign!

The entire Reach Sound Track, That sound track is the best in the series (My opinion) closely followed by ODST. When Tip of the spear comes on I go in rampage mode, if i’m losing it’s usually the invasion theme, good times.
None. I only listen to the in-game sounds so I can actually tell what’s going on.
I have a playlist that includes the Nolan Batman Trilogy soundtracks, Inception, and pretty much anything from Two Steps From Hell.
Epic music, for epic battles.
Nothing beats Vivaldis 3rd, summer.
But other than classical its mostly Blink-182, QOTSA and Foo Fighters
Metal or Rap, personally.
Anything I like is pleasant to listen to while I play.
