Title basically says the question. What game mode will you play first in halo 4?
Like most past halos I’ll probably go right to the campaign to get a good feel for the game. But with reach the first thing I did was forge I just had to check out forge world.
A custom game with my friends, to get the feel of the game and the weapons.
And then, Campaign in Legendary. If is like Halo 3 or Halo Reach, I shouldn’t have too many problems… however if is like Halo 2 Legendary… well, Heroic will be good enough for the first time.
I wake up. Tell my mom to go buy me H4 while im at school.
Get home. Insert amazing shiny disk.
Look at some limited edition content.
Download all my bonuses.
Play forge on all 3 Maps just to see what they look like and how forge feels.
Multiplayer for a couple games of different stuff.
Play some campaign.
Wait for friends to go out and buy it and then play Spartan Ops with them
Then i barely get to sleep knowing i cant stay home the next day to play H4
> I Will play heroic first as well the way halo is meant to be played according to bungie.
But that was Bungie. Who knows how 343 will balance the different difficulties. As long as playing co-op Legendary isn’t like H2 co-op Legendary, I’ll be fine (playing H2 co-op Legendary was like being forced to play 3 or Reach with the Iron skull on; not fun).
As for my first mode, it will be campaign, even though I am actually more excited for Forge (I figure if I start Forging first, I’ll get wrapped up in a Forge project, and won’t get around to playing Campaign for a long while).

I’ve actually concluded that a difficulty setup like halo CE mixed with the level design of halo reach would be amazing!
as for forge, might you take me under your wing? I’ve always wanted to get into forging but I never quite got around to it, however in halo 4 I’m thinking about becoming dedicated to it. even though I’m sure I’ll be playing other stuff too I kind of like the idea of forging is all.
I played the orginal Halo for the campaign and every Halo after no matter how good MP was I still played and beat the campaign first. That was for a decade. Now… Imma do the same damn thing for the next decade!

I guess that depends…if you’re looking for someone to help you make competitive maps, I’m not your guy. I mostly just do aesthetic stuff (spaceships, etc). I do try to make them at least casually playable, but mostly for other’s benefit. Here’s an example of my Forge work.
