What Mic do you use?

I’d be interested in knowing what headset you use. I personally use Astro A40’s and I can hear a spartan fart they are so good.

I use Steelseries Siberia 200 which aren’t as flashy as they used to be, but are extremely comfortable and effective for sound -Yoink!- at a low price ($150 NZ-ish). True they don’t look as fantastic as Astros or anything though I find them extremely good for being a sound--Yoink!-.

I have a friend that swears by SteelSeries stuff, but I always forget that they make headsets.

This one is very good for solo queue as the sound quality is amazing, although the cable can get very messy very easy, unplug as they have to go through an adapter (which is included), and also the mic can have some issues after use.

I use a Skullcandy Halo headset  it was in my price range and I like it a lot.

Before it broke back in the summer, I used the Chat Headset. It’s a first-party accessory, but it looks very cheap and fragile at the same time. It was better than nothing.

And since I don’t have a mic, I’ll be in “Rookie mode” for a good while. At least I can scare the crap outta my friends in a Custom game. BOO!

I use Astro A40s as well. They were pricey, but they do work well for what they are designed for.

Turtle Beach Recon 50X. Had them for almost a year now and no complaints, great headset for only 40 bucks.

I was using TB X12’s until last year, switched over to the TB XO4. Don’t like the volume controls on the poweramp they bundle with it which is annoying though, I use the Xbox adapter instead so I don’t get to hear my voice. Means I always have 1 ear off but still love them

I’ve got these too. The microphone adapter became loose and didn’t sit in properly. I wasn’t overly fussed about having a mic but I’m loooking to join a company again so need to get them replaced. No complaints other than that.

I use the generic garbage. I’m a pretty social gamer/person, so I’m typically with or around people while I’m playing so wearing a full headset is kind of offputting, especially when I’m trying to talk with one of my roommates.

I really wish they would just come out with a wireless headset like they did with the 360 already. I don’t understand why they haven’t - the thing is SO useful, and it’s great to be able to walk into my kitchen and grab a beer without having to leave the controller and headset as well as the conversation behind.
