My personal favorite maps from Halo 4 were Haven, Adrift, Solace, and Exile.
So my question to you Halo fans are what maps would you want from Halo 4 to return to Halo 5: Guardians?

Doesn’t really matter to me because the new clamber and thruster pack abilities will negatively impact on the map design for maps that weren’t made with the new abilities in mind.
Truth (more like Bigship) is proof enough that even trying to scale the map’s proportions to make it compatible with Halo’s new abilities doesn’t really work flawlessly.
This isn’t Halo 4’s turn to have maps remade, it’s Reach’s. Here’s my reasoning: Reach had Halo 2 maps, Halo 4 had Halo 3 maps, so therefore there should be Reach maps in Halo 5.
I would choose Countdown, and Power House.
Maybe a few of the Majestic maps, otherwise not a single one. The ‘good’ ones were merely acceptable and the rest were beyond bad.
Assuming any Halo 4 maps make it into Halo 5 (or Halo 6 if my theory holds true) I would choose Skyline, Haven and maybe Long Bow.
NONE, the halo 4 maps were boring, end of discussion.
How bout none of the Halo 4 maps at all?
None of them; they’re all pretty terrible.
How about not that many remakes at all…especially no past-Halo 3 maps!
Reach and 4 had too many terrible maps…IF they remake maps i would like some of H1,2 or 3’s!

Halo 4 already had thrusters and clamber doesn’t require any extra map alteration. Clamber is common sense, you see a ledge, you hold on to it. Remeber the times you jumped and didn’t make the ledge? well now you can.
On topic: Exile, Longbow, Skyline, Monolith

Not always, and not like every player had Sprint as a default ability.

Because? Your point is null and void if you don’t explain it. Provide proof, please.

All I remember is reaching crouch jumps or not reaching crouch jumps. If the developers wanted me to reach a jump (by either crouchjumping or not), they would make it so that I would reach it.
Skyline, Haven, Adrift.
No Complex or anything similar, please.

Right, by adding something like clamber.
Clamber doesn’t necessitate any map alteration because it was a feature needed for a long time with the already existing maps. Countless times people trying to jump and almost make it, only to fail the jump on any map shows that clamber is needed to smooth player movement. Its something that happens on every map.
Clamber is another natural ability that should be present not only in Halo but any game that requires moving on a 3 dimensional space. If you can reach it, you should be able to climb it.
I think they should remake Reach maps rather than 4 maps. Countdown would work phenomonally in H5 if it gets scaled up for the new mechanics.

I think this whole argument is a matter of opinion. You think you should be able to make jumps with clamber, he doesn’t.
You should both agree to disagree.

Through the design of the map. Stop being so selective with your rebuttals.
Wrong. It does. Halo 5’s take on Halo 2’s Midship (most well known as Heretic, a Halo 3 remake) includes clamber areas all over the map as part of its design. It’s not merely used to help players reach a jump, but also upper areas.
It’s another “natural” ability that dictates the design process of a map. Where players are able to jump and clamber. How far distances between platforms will be.

Not really, actually. I’m merely pointing out that simple additions to the game’s mechanics vastly alter the map design process and how they play. He apparently is set upon the belief that this is not the case.
Haven!
Haven and Exile, all the yoinking way!
I’m not sure, I didn’t like many of the Halo 4 maps. Rather see some Halo 1/2/3 maps.
Didn’t like any of them, then again I didn’t like Halo 4 a whole lot so that probably explains it, if I had to chose a few I would have to go with Exile because that was decent at times, would of chosen Skyline as it looked really good but I never got the chance to play it.

No it wasn’t, the games played great without clamber, it wasn’t something people were not banging on Bungie’s door asking for clamber.
And believe me, maps will be altered to facilitate new abilities such as clamber- prime example being Midship/Truth.

Jumping is a skill, if you fail it you fail it and have to try again and learn them, the game shouldn’t have to hold your hand if you fail.

No, if you successfully jump onto it you should be rewarded, not have an ability to just give you instant success for failing.
