Since Pit, Guardian, and other more geometric maps can be remade in Forge relatively well, I’m not going to list them. I really want a remake of Midship/Heretic, one because it’s a good map, and two because we have no Covenant maps in Halo 4.
But a remake would not work without classic settings.
The Pit, Standoff, Rats nest… I’d say Guardian, but they’d have to tone down ordnance or take it out all together. It would be crazy with that many power weapons.

Lockout(for the sake of split-screen)

Maps I never want to see remade:
Everything from Halo 3 (aside from Guardian).
Everything from Halo Reach (aside from Highlands).
Boarding Action (It just wouldn’t work in a new Halo game).
Chiron TL-34 (this map is just too much…)
Blood Gulch (Every iteration or successor to bg was much better. Coag specifically was much better than bg).
Longest (Elongation was better and it was still bad).
Death Island (I know people will hate me for this one but DI was just toooo big. It was perfect for messing around on PC. If it ever did come back I would want it scaled down like Timberland was.)
Gephyrophobia - For DMR’s and LR
BloodGulch/Coagulation(scaled down) - for BR users
Beaver Creek - For Autmoatics
and lastly Sanctuary

I’d say a lot of maps, but judging at how horribly Ragnarok plays compared to Valhalla(due to the DMR) all these maps just wouldn’t be the same and wouldn’t be fun.

Was that from Halo CE for the PC? Never heard of it before. But good selection of maps!

None of the above. Older maps werent meant to support Halo 4’s game mechanics. Ragnarok is proof of this. Valhalla worked great with Halo 3’s mechanics, but Ragnarok is just a mess.

As much as I would love some old maps to make a return, I feel like none of them would work with sprint.
I love every map from Halo:CE unfortunately many of them would work well with Halo 4 game style
