What make bumper jumper the best layout for swat?

What’s the other benefits other than jumping?

I can’t remember the benefits off the top of my head, I think it makes it easier to melee too or that was just the boxer config. I used to use bumper jumper for swat in halo 3, Reach and 4, but now I cant remember why I don’t use it, I just use the Halo 4 controller scheme in 5.

I’d say your better to take the controls you are used to then map the buttons.

When was able to jump with out having to move off the controls it took me a while to stop over jumping.

For me, it makes the quick peeks easier, but I tend to default to the conventional button mapping out of laziness.

It’s a very tiny difference in the speed of using the Jump + Thruster Pack to evade in CQC. I’d rather stick with the controller scheme I know. Switching just for a semi-worthless difference doesn’t seem worth it.

It’s just better overall so you can jump and shoot accurately.

To add to this it’s basically so you don’t have to take your thumb off the right stick to jump. Since some jump a lot during swat you can jump and still look at the same time

bumper jumper is good for CQB and breakout, i personally prefer Recon (Reach nostalgia…), boxer is for melee, default with pressed zoom is most likely best due to the quick descope.

some would argue that jumping decreases accuracy, but if you like hovering i guess…
