The things we loved about Halo :

The things we loved about Halo :
I didn’t like firefight personally. Everything in Halo 5 is just the way I like it.
Overhyped? Nah. Halo IS the hype.

Yes. Me too.
But Halo Reach Firefight was amazing!
343i doesn’t listen to the fans much.
What I heard from other forums
BUNGIE also took out dual - wielding

After playing the H5 beta I felt like 343 must’ve went to the H4 forums, read all my criticisms of Halo 4, and built Halo 5 based off that.
So I guess the moral of the story is, by doing what some fans want, they’ll be doing what other fans don’t want. So it’s not that they aren’t listening, it’s just that they can’t make everyone happy.
As a business, it’s smart to do what the majority of the customers want. Corporations dump a lot of money into R&D to find out what it is the majority wants, then they base their decisions off of that data.

I just can’t… this is what is wrong with the community. 343 didn’t TAKE OVER Bungie. Bungie abandoned the franchise. They didn’t want to make it anymore, they were done with Halo and Microsoft.
And how did Halo 4’s campaign have more downs than ups? Because it had an actual plot? Because it brought in a whole new enemy class? Because it looked amazing? Because the cutscenes were awesome?
Also, if you want to talk about loss of potential, that was all Bungie’s fault with Reach my friend. Reach was the title that introduced everything that has become a controversy with Halo, that was not 343’s doing.
As for your complaint with split-screen, I really just can’t. They’ve explained the reasoning a million times, it is sound, and its not going to change so move along.
Finally “they also took out dual-wielding”… I just, once again, this was taken out in Halo Reach by Bungie, not 343… sooooo…

OK, Your acting like I don’t know what i’m talking about. And the reason I said Halo 4’s campaign had more downs than ups is because it didn’t feel like Halo.
Call me a casual player but I loved Halo 4 the graphics were great but once I got Halo 3 it felt just right!
And they took out so many things from Reach,3, and 2.That was 343i’s first game.Halo 2 anniversary gameplay was awesome but that means 343i is taking the big step!
I already know about split-screen ok and if you do not have anything nice to say . . .

they do! start giving feed back for Halo 7 and it might make it into the game!
I don’t think the ranking system was good honestly, and not because of cheaters. Unless you’re talking about the social ranking systems in place.
Honestly the 1-50 system really didn’t mean anything about skill, especially in lower levels. You could have a whole team of level 3s, but because someone is a Halo vet over someone who just started and deserve the level 3, they get their -Yoink- handed to them. This was reoccurring. It just didn’t mean anything and was kind of tricky in that regard.
However, as far as Halo 5 is concerned, I like that it’s all about individual skill until your placement matches are done, then you’re ranked accordingly, getting rid of this nuisance that was prevalent. I wish it was like that originally but, I digress.
TL;DR - Just because someone was a level 3, doesn’t mean they actually are a level 3. Goes for any other level in the competitive ranking system Halo once had.

No, Bungie did in Reach. 343 didn’t make Reach. Bungie took out the dual-wielding, so I guess you could say Bungie didn’t listen to fans either with that logic.

First, learn how to use the forums, because leaving multiple responses back to back like you’re texting someone is really annoying.
Second, you clearly have an axe to grind with 343i for some reason, so it’s very had to take anything you say remotely serious.
343 has made numerous changes in Halo 4 and in Halo 5 per feedback from “fans”. So I really have no idea what you’re going on about.

You should be the last person telling others to leave the forum. Per your service record, you have barely even played any of the games in the series.

I know I didn’t say 343 took it out.
And yeah I kinda agree about the ranking system.
And I am not hating on 343i to be honest they made me love Halo.
I am just going by what the REAL Halo fans think through different forums.
343i brought me back to Halo from Reach.
I am just looking for suggestions on how to make the game better.
And yeah I admit it I guess I was wrong about 343i not listening.
Iv’e been playing Halo on the 360 for the past five years and my favorite Halo was Halo 2!
I am also new to Xbox one so people who wanna joke around with my service record or say unnecessary comments can leave
Also Halloween G has only played 2 Halo games according to HIS service record!
