All of the above qualify but for me, Multiplayer is what made Halo for me
All of the above for sure. But I found the story pretty fascinating. And that split screen multi-player was fun as hell.
Multiplayer I think is what really set it apart from everything else. The fact that you could system link up to 16 players was HUGE and really sparked console multiplayer. I miss those days so very much. I was young and when I wasn’t in school, I was playing Halo with my friends
nothing will ever be like sitting at home with friends on the couch screencheating off of each other
The weapons really made it for me, I loved the fact the some weapons had unique qualities. e.g. the plasma rifle would slow down players, leading shots was necessary at range, etc.
