So what level was you when you decided to turn off your assassinations?

you out can get 3 times as much kills it’s unreal
I didn’t know you could even turn them off. I know if you quickly tap melee inside of hold you’ll just get a one-hit melee kill from behind instead of an assassination animation. Not sure why you’d want to turn them off though, they’re super cool.
I guess level Infinity, because I haven’t turned them off.

Haven’t turned them off, mostly too lazy to. Assassinations don’t really trigger for me much anyway. Most of the time I end up getting beatdowns now.
I like seeing my terminal velocity assassination too much…

I’d rather look cool stomping in your face than save time. I keep them on.

I assassinate when I’m in no danger, and when I’m sure I can pull it off without being killed midway by an opponent or yoinked by a friendly. I beat down when I need someone dead quickly or I need to kill multiple hostiles in a row. If they’re extra oblivious to their surroundings, I might assassinate one or two of them.
My assassination victims are only those who deserve it. Those who are isolated, unwary, and/or distracted. Most often, someone will see an opportunity to assassinate a hostile and chase after them, blind to anything else going on around them. Those people are perfect victims. In fact, just yesterday, I assassinated a hostile with an overshield on in a BTB match, because he tried to pull off an assassination of his own on an AFK friendly and didn’t see me on his radar.
Lesson of the day: You don’t need to toggle assassinations off. Just don’t get greedy, and assassinate wisely. You might lose an overshield otherwise.

Speaking of assassinations. Ive gotten the glitch where im in the middle of assasinating someone and somehow the animation stops and the opponent walks away. Ive left it on all the time. #Terminal velocity

i dont get them enough to warrent me to turn it off. i get more ground pounds than i do assasinations
I didn’t, I like assassinations. However, I rarely pull them off without busting out some active camo power-ups in Warzone.
Since the beginning, cant waste those precious seconds of animation in competitive play.
I try to leave them on and just do them when I have time, but sometimes it tiggers anyways. So lately I’ve been turning them off in ranked play and having them on in anything else. Does anyone know if the beat down medal counts towards assassinations for commendations and in the Spartan company? Or do you actually have to do the assassination animation?
