I remember when Devil May Cry 4 was released. What an awesome game. Like some of you know, the game introduced a new character: Nero. So you were able to play as Dante (the original character) and Nero, like Halo 5 with Chief and Locke.
(ALERT SPOILER DEVIL MAY CRY 4)
I remember that I was not sure if I was going to like Nero, but Capcom did it perfect. I loved Nero. Why?
It was a similar history, Nero was hunting Dante, and he finally found him, and when he found him, Dante defeated him easily, even admiting Dante was the best, and then they started to colaborate together.
So what am I trying to say? Well I guess in Halo 5 Locke will find Chief. I hope 343 had introduced a Chief vs Locke fight, where we see Chief is still the best, the strongest, and the most important thing: Admitted by Locke.
Locke will be appreciated if it were clear that Chief is still the hero, our hero.

Nah, there would be no respect for Locke if that happened. Also gotta say 343 HAS made it clear that chief is still the hero, and that Locke is here so that we can see chief in another way.

Imagine for a moment Locke acting like Andrew Del Rio. I don’t think there would be any respect for Locke.

I don’t see how that has to do with what you originally said, or what I said . My point was Locke fighting chief and going “you are the best after all. Golly Gee” wouldn’t earn him any respect. All the people who don’t like him would go “see this scrub can’t hold an Electronic candle to cheef” and people still wouldn’t like him. Arbee never properly fought Cheef, and people seem to like, and respect, him now.

I’ve never said Locke was goint to said that :|. Did you play Devil May Cy 4? That’s the better example.
Id appreciate him if he and the rest of Osiris have a car, be it the Osirihog, or the puma, I don’t care. Give fire team Osiris their own car and then I will like them

Tbh, the only time his armor looked pretty cool was in his “All Hail” trailer, where he looked most badass. Other than that, I’m not digging it, it’s kinda funky lookin. Imo, I think Locke skipped leg day too.
