I don’t tend to use power weapons as much as I should simply because it seems that every time I decide to use one of my precious req cards I spawn somewhere far from where I want to be and either get killed on the way there or get killed because I’m in a bad spot and I hate wasting cards. My favorite standard weapon loadout has to be a kinetic bolt DMR with a suppressed SMG and improved thrusters. Basically I can’t do anything until at least req level 6 when I can grab a DMR then I make my come back. I just can’t seem to be as proficient with the BR I always get out BR’d at distances. I don’t know if I’m not choosing the right variant or I just suck with all of them. I’ve tried using the variants that increase range and or accuracy and still get owned but that’s off topic. What do you guys like to use/ makes you feel more confident in a fire fight?
i tend to go BR SMG and upgarded shields. it works pretty well looking forward to getting some more reqs for variety though

ill use power weapons on assault to finish commendations and it seems to be the easiest way to get kills with them
regular warzone i use vehicles mostly with a longshot BR and recon AR with kinetic for enemy vehicles
Usually a BR and an SMG. Before I hit Level-4 REQs, I use a scoped, silence AR for close combat, and either a normal or scoped BR, depending on the map. I never use any power-ups or vehicle stuff, and the only times I use power weapons is to help take out objectives or a pesky player.
Silenced BR and Kinetic bolt BR with advanced radar until the DMR is available and then DMR with silenced BR. I need to work on my SMG commendation but I just cant seem to remember to do it while playing.
I always end up using Kinetic BR, Kinetic SMG, with splinter-nade.
You get all this usually mid round or earlier and its really effective.

Longshot Battle Rifle with Laser Targeter and Longshot Assault Rifle with Long Barrel (sometimes stick with the magnum)
Level 5-6
Sentinel Battle Rifle with Long Barrel and Projection SMG with Stabilization Jets

Sentinel Battle Rifle with Long Barrel And DMR (rarely get to use my DMRs most matches are over before i reach high enough level reqs)
Don’t forgot to equip your armor mods after level five and you can start using power up as soon as req level two
I love the Kinetic bolts, but only have it on my SMG and BR

Advanced sensors
Silenced Longshot scope BR (sentinel encumbers my field of view too much, I don’t care for it)
Silenced Projection SMG.
I take bases single handed, assassinate people constantly, and just get the drop on fools in gunfights resulting in me winning heads up fights 95% of the time unless I make a large error. It’s really funny to mess with multiple levels of a base or spire while people are trying to seek you out as you silently kill everything. Only another user with Advanced sensors can counter you.
Once I hit req level 8 I switch my SMG out for a DMR with an energy bayonet.
It allows for powerful single shot damage alternative but forgoes stealth when firing to allow me to walk up to people and one hit melee them. Advanced Sensors combined with the energy bayonet = a ton of one hit melee kills on people you get the drop on and close melee distance before they realize whats happening ( the melee lunge with Bayonet is about 10 feet, so ridiculous lol)
Since I only have level 8 DMRs right now my normal loadout has a Sentinel BR instead and a kinect bolt or stabilizer SMG and when I get a power weapon I generally swap out the SMG.
I usually use an AR with stabilizers, a BR with kinetic bolts, and upgraded thrusters. Now depending on the situation, I may swap out for a recon SMG with kinetic bolts for base defense, or grab a DMR with kinetic bolts for the Warden and Capt Wammik.
but I usually stay with an AR most of the time. However, I’ve been using the pistol more and starting to get the hang of it.

Battle Rifle with laser targeter, Projection SMG with long barrel, and Improved Sensors. It’s no pro setup, but I suck less with this.
Suppressed SMG, Suppressed Longshot BR, Enhanced Sensors. Walk everywhere.
AR Laser Targeter (sight is irrelevant), Magnum, Enhanced Sensors. Good for fire support, since the laser makes it easier to hit shots at mid-long range. Use for suppression.
