Yeah thats what I meant. When someone asks what language something is written in theyre asking what programming language was used to make said program.

I don’t think there is any confirmed info on this, but most games are written in C++. I would assume Halo is written in C++ (or some variant) as well.

I can confirm that at least Halo CE was written in C++. I believe that all of them were written in the same language, but I wouldn’t be surprised if H5 was written in something else.
