what kinda custom games will you be playing?

I don’t know if this topic has been brought up before, so please forgive me if it has.

I was wondering what fun-whimsical kind of custom games people will be playing or making up in Halo 4.

Me and my friends from the Halo 2 days made up a game called “Pink Fairies”, in which all players use are Needlers, but in Halo 4 we have Jet Packs, and can edit the maps gravity to make it more interesting.

what will you play?

Anything that is not “left 4 dead”. I have always hated that Infection game type.

A gametype called “Shotload overgun”

I really don’t know yet. We don’t even know all the gametypes yet. With all the new stuff they are adding to forge and custom games, the possibilities are seemingly endless!

I’ll be playing everything I played in Halo 3 and Halo Reach.

I’ll also be remaking some of the maps and gametypes that I made in Halo 3 and Halo Reach and ones that others made which I found enjoyable.

Probably going to be a noob and utilize the new features (which are currently unknown) as much as I can in a good and new gametype.

> A gametype called “Shotload overgun”

and what is this game about?

All of them.

Play some tower of power or some hide and seek. And maybe start an unlimited slayer game like in good op halo 2. I miss halo 2 customs.

Considering that we can now throw the bomb and Oddball, I’m going to make these:

Ultimate Assault (Ultimate frisbee): Basically Grifball, but the bomb traits are set so you can’t move while you’re holding it. You pass it to your teammates, and you gotta score a touchdown! Only weapon is the Plasma Pistol (or none if possible) and everybody’s invincible.

Basketball: Similar to the above gametype. Utilizes Reach’s “Golf ball points” system like in Haloball and Hockey in Action Sack, but with a bomb (assuming that’s possible in Halo 4). You’re invincible, but when you have the bomb, you can die from being melee’d twice, so the ball can be “stolen”. Basically you have to throw it into the goal area (hoop) as many times as possible.

You have to guess!

Lots of Infection and Slayer variants.

I’ll be waiting on someone to make a “Jenga” gametype.

I intend on creating a new and unique gametype variant for every gametype, assuming I have as much freedom as I did in Halo 3 (I may be the only one who noticed, but the Gametype options in Reach were really lacking)
