I think the missiles should be gauss and the machine gun should shoot lasers (10 laser rounds=1 gauss round)
Well we now know that there will be suppressor variants. Possibly a mythic assault rifle? FINALLY a mantis that will be hilarious to power into a combat situation with!!!

PS: It’s the same tech principle, Rail or Gauss. Just railed or coiled. Combing the two “can” shorten the barrel and/or timing to fire different payloads.

Rail takes time to charge, Gauss is instant gratification, hopefully it requires charging even if it’s as short as the whiplash.

Definitely looks more rail gun like than guass turret, but either way, it will be a ton of fun to use.
