I feel like every other game of assault i play, i find an afk booster. Does anybody know if 343 actually does ban for that? What kind of bans do they get? Do they get reset? im curious as to what 343 thinks the punishment for that should be. Does anybody know? Ive looked everywhere for information on this topic, but havnt found anything.
If they spin in circles or move slightly or shoot a bit every now and then, they don’t get kicked from the match.
Im not sure how bans are even handled, if ever, at that point. It’s very disheartening.

Yeah i know how it works. My buddy has actually showed me his set up and he does it often. Im curious as to the reprocussions of that.

And i dont think xbox live can do anything. The ban would have to come from 343.

Basically, someone has a modded controller or some method to press or move a button on the controller. This allows them to not get removed from the game. They get 0 kills every game and collectss xp and rp at the end of every game. They can do this while they are sleeping, at work, or in class ect. Its a way for them to rank up without having to play.

Exactly. Technically, it is against 343’s rules. Im curious as to what the repercussions are of doing that.

They do. There’s a system which recognizes controller manipulation like that

Never heard of a reset, from what I know it’s time bans only

Do you know what the extent of the time bans can be? Pema bans from the servers? 2 week bans like in reach?

Seeing that you were asking about the consequence of reporting, I’ll discuss that instead of the in-game ban settings.
You may notice a curved bar on everyone’s Xbox Live profile. This bar represents the players reputation. Most players who aren’t reported often are in the green section which has to consequence. Players who are reported enough will be pushed down to Yellow or Red which makes that profile intentionally look for games with other low rep players on laggier servers.

Is that all that happens? I find it hard to believe the 343 doesn’t really do anything. Is the in game-ban the only thing 343 does to try and protect against it?
