Because it doesn’t look like any kind of gen 2 armor we’ve seen thus far. Perhaps some sort of special variant developed by ONI? What do you guys think?

Hahahaha!! I got that feeling from watching the first episode ;D I really want to try and like locke and his team but he just seems to empty like their isn’t much too him, I guess we will have to see how he develops :’)
Locke doesn’t seem to be the usual Spartan IV so it seems likely that his armor isn’t the usual GEN II armor either.
