I keep coming back because love Halo. Its simple.
I think i keep on thinking i might get into a clan and get back into the community. I loved being in the middle of these funny yet entertaining clan wars on Reach and 4. Miss those times thats why i keep coming back.

I used to always come back at least once a day, desperately grinding for Decimator for about a month.
Then I spent six dollars and didn’t touch the game until Infection because I was so -Yoinking!- done with the REQ system, poor server quality in my area, and general lack of things to do.
Played infection for a while, it kept me in for a solid two, maybe three weeks.
Then Far Harbor was released and I haven’t touched Halo 5 since. Honestly don’t plan to, not until Firefight anyways.
Used to LOVE Halo. Literally the first game I’ve ever touched was the original Combat Evolved. I played the -Yoink- outta Spartan Ops and Halo 4’s campaign, and Reach had me in it’s godly clutches for years. Halo 3’s campaign was something all my friends could gather around and just have fun in.
I just… don’t have the same fun I used to in Halo anymore. The game isn’t for me I guess, I preferred the more casual modes like BTB, Grifball, Infection, Invasion, Action Sack, etc. But, even the modes IN 5, they don’t have the same chill, relaxing feeling anymore. How do you make Grifball sweaty? HOW DO YOU DO THAT!?!
I just recently unlocked my final gold pack, and since I am not interested in getting Achilles, I basically just hop on a little bit to play some Warzone and Infection. I hope so bad that action sack comes back soon, and I’m extremely excited for the Firefight update.
In general I’m playing less now that I have all my REQ items though.
I just came to play and say the people that Halo 5 is the worst Halo Game (Campaign never happenz in that way, domain has beeen destroyed by the halo effects… but yeah… 343 and liar novels :3 )
But one have to play it to say it.
The desire to get helljumper
For me it’s the daily challenges, filling up my REQ collection, and forging.
to play halo, i like breakout. breakout is the only mode that i think balances sprint and spartan ablilities well, you cant just run n gun.
I like halo
I am not buying the next game though for many reasons if it is any similar to this
http://
My collector mentality! I love/hate grinding for those req points, but adding to my req collection is a sweet thing. I do enjoy the game, but I don’t think I’d be playing as much as I do if there weren’t some goal to reach (Completing my Req collection.)

agreed, lack of casual game modes, If you dont like warzone your left with near nothing
halo 5 isnt halo but i come back just to see what the new updates have, pluse forge and custom games is fun.
It’s addictive
For me I would say the biggest reason I keep grinding is because I have such a good time BSing with the people in my Spartan Company. There is always something to laugh about and it’s just fun day after day. I probably would have quit if not for playing in large parties with people that know how to have fun.

True, even if I do agree there are a lot more FPS out there that would “do the trick” for the fun parts, this one is the most balanced in terms of sheer skill required to get a good result. In other games, you can out-loot / out-gun / out-smart your opponent just by the way you customize your player. You can only do this to a certain extent in Halo 5, if you lack the reflexes for it.

exactly what i think
Just started playing again after about 4 months, I have nothing else I want to play.

For me it’s nostalgia. There is nothing more satisfying than driving around in a ghost or warthog, laying waste to my enemies. That and all the new features in Halo 5. All the free DLC we get is amazing and outstanding. The one thing that drives me personally the most is maxing out in rank. I want to hit level 152 before halo 6 comes out. That’s my main goal. This game is freaking fun man!

Halo is love. Halo is life.
