What keeps a "Classic" playstyle out of Halo 5?

This is something that’s been on my mind. To put some of the reasons to rest, and others to discuss on. To “Draw the Line in the Sand” if you will. I’m making a video to see if the things that people say (like for example the bullet magnetism, not the full weapon set of the previous title, or any other reason why it can’t) and also reasons why we can. I want to hear a general statement of what the community and put them to the test. “Mythbusting” if you will. Let me know why you believe it can/can’t work, and I will go test to see if true.

The basic thrusters in the armor. Classic halos didn’t have ground pound, boost, or Spartan charge. If you want to myth busters style something, start with classic weapon comparisons, such as energy levels, TTK, bullet mag, and so forth.

This. Also if you want a rough idea of the Halo 5 engine running a classic playlist, try a Legendary BR game on Halo 4. The only thing different in that game mode is sprint.

Maps, weapons, a ton of other stuff.

You can turn off the abilities, remake the classic maps all you want, but the weapons in this game are designed for the Halo 5 sandbox. Not Halo 3, not Halo 2, they are designed with the crazy fast and mobile super soldiers in mind. Even classic weapons like the H2 BR have been changed from their original stats to fit into the sandbox.

Game may feel classic but once the BR’s pop you from across the map you won’t be wanting a classic playlist anymore.
