What it boils down to

I have seen a lot of threads recently that just bash anyone who criticizes anything. 343/Microsoft, 5, anything.

What it indeed boils down to is that anyone who criticizes anything does so to improve the thing being criticized, however seemingly unconstructive the criticism may seem. Should all criticism be stated coherently and ideally have an alternative? Yes. But sometimes people get quite emotional about the things they care about and those emotions cloud that.

Just know everyone who wants the discussion to be 100% posative that if that was the case the dev and publisher have a monopoly on you. They can do anything, ANYTHING, and nothing would happen. They could charge twise as much for req packs and no eyes would be batted. They could release a game a year, no matter how damn broken and everyone would be OK with it. That is not the way things should happen.

Expressing opinions is fine, but one who expresses opinions had best be prepared to defend them and respect the opinions of others. I don’t know what situation you’re talking about specifically, but expressing counter-opinions isn’t always a bad thing.

I never said anything against that. Intelegent discussion is always a good thing
