Hello there,I want to know what everyone’s prefered weapon of choice is when entering battle I know the BR is a fan favorite but the DMR definatly seems to be working it’s way up there. I also want to know how many of you choose a promethian loadout as I have not seen many.

I prefer using a Storm Rifle or BR. I would use DMR but I just feel so dirty using that. It kills faster than the BR at all ranges.
The BR. After so long of hating the DMR in Reach, I can’t stand using it anymore, even if it is fairly decent in Halo 4. I only pick it up if I’ve got no other choice.
I pawn BR/DMR noobs with my AR all day! On another note, I really wish Armour Lock was back. I loved having my invincibility button 
Light Rifle and Surpresser
I will admit the DMR does have absolute brute force behind it, for me though its gotta be the BR and AR.
I prefer automatics when it comes to my rifles and I need more time w/ the lot of them but usually it’s the AR.
Out of scoped weapons I have grown attached to the Carbine from my days in H3 trying to combat against BR spam. But after Reach the DMR has earned an awkward place in my heart. LightRifle is cool but feels so slow. So out of scoped starters it’s the Carbine.
Magnum is my fav sidearm. Again learned to use if in SWAT for H3 and made great use of it in Reach. Plasma Pistol I only plan on using in BTB.
Power Weapons? I love my explosives. Of course the Rocket Launcher was my first kill and is the reason I kept playing Halo after skeptically trying H2.
Other than that I must say I love nearly ALL the guns within Halo, the variety is another major plus that drew me in. Though I still consider myself a heavy/Explosives lover I again enjoy my automatics so the SAW has totally put a smile on my face.
Carbine
dmr hands down for complex, br for solace, dmr/br for haven, dmr/lightrifle for VAHALALALAA, br for abandon, etc
They are good choices for those maps,TBH I have not really pushed myself to use the carbine in mp maybe i should whack it on a class, its the same with the supressor.
AR even on Ragnarok
For me using AR on that map just wouldnt suit me, I can definaty see how it would work using some length of stealth tactics to get up close to them.
I find the BR is also fun to use, but I still hate the DMR
I use the Covenant Carbine and Assault Rifle in my loadout. 
medium to long range DMR and close i switch to the AR.
i love the BR and i wish i used it more but with the DMR being a cannon you gotta go with the better weapon. up close the AR just tears people up.
I love the carbine.
Lately, the very underutilized Storm Rifle. It’s got amazing accuracy for an automatic. So much so that I’ve stopped whining about the AR.
Honestly, I’m a decent Halo 4 player because I’ve gotten a lot better to adapt to the situation I am in. I usually start off and like to start off with my Prime-skinned Assault Rifle and Magnum, but I usually trade in those weapons for others depending on the situation I am in. I usually always keep my Assault Rifle with me though unless I get my hands on a SAW.
BR, the DMR reminds me of Reach so I refuse to use it.
