What Is Your Strategy

I wana see some epic fighting strategies;I wana see some strategies that are used often. I will post my own as well.

If you want strategies, I suggest watching live streams of players who are really really good. Things like the jump and side thrust mid engagement which throw off a lot of players, timing power up spawns, etc. I followed Turley on Twitch yesterday who’s a Champion rank in FFA and Team Arena, and I put some of his play style to work yesterday with decent success.

Something I just did recently was put my sensitivity to 2 but acceleration to max and my accuracy has gone up by at least 10%. Slow enough sensitivity to be precise, but fast enough acceleration to turn around very quickly.

I shoot and hope for the best?

I shoot and know its the best. If youre positive, the universe will listen.

Sit back, relax, pace your shots

I don’t have one lol
I just jump into a game, assess the current situation, and go from there.

Obviously, it depends on the game type. Generally for me though, I find my teammates get me killed. I try to stay away from my own team & I do better…

It depends on the map, who you are playing with, what the gametype is etc.

When I used to play with a team we sometimes used a strategy we called rabbit and bear. One of the four of us played the rabbit. He would run take a few potshots and get the enemy team to follow him to where the rest of us (The bear) would be waiting. They would be focused on the bait and would generally get caught by surprise. You could do it a few times a match if you spaced it out as well. Especially on the maps with lifts.

Warzone: kill all the smaller early game bosses, stealing the enemy bosses as well, to give my team an early lead to boost team morale, then proceeding to cause havoc and disrupting the enemy team with a ghost until my team has a solid foothold.

Arena: hurl my worthless corpse at the objective until my team wins/losses

I don’t know man, I don’t take it too seriously, but at the same time I do like to play to win engagements (although I could care less about winning the match). So I try to get the weapons I like to use and I try to use the right weapon in the right situation. I try keeping track of the power ups. Admittedly, I don’t think much about map positioning and I’m usually Lone Wolfing it and I have no idea how to throw grenades and have them actually do damage. I also have no idea how to Sprint and Spartan Charge properly so I never really do it. Although lately I’ve been trying to make a conscious effort to Sprint more at proper times.

I wait for and attack ai bosses, and ONLY AI bosses. Whether it’s arena or wz.
Never fails.

Shoot my way out mix things up a little

Honestly my strategy is run with teammates hurt any enemy I can so my teammates can clean up if I can’t kill them or to make it easier for them to kill. In warzone simple, run clear your base 3 people stay 2 go for mid rest go for enemy armor, cap all three kill any bosses that are around at the time call in reqs and blow up the core. Noctus, everyone to mid base call in a scout hog if necessary 2 people go to north cap that cap monument, take south if its still open, if not we are set already, wait for every boss kill instantly by the time the first warden is out you’re done or that warden will make you wi.

My strategy is shoot at target till shield is down then dodge behind an object. Wait for target to at least get closer then knife target for hit them. If this dos not work for that certain map I take out my pistol and spray bullets in the direction of their head. On a game like infection though I take my shot gun and do the strategy “Safety in numbers.”

I checked your profile, first, welcome to the forums. Secondly I did that to see if your K/D was better than mine so I would know if I may actually have anything to share that you don’t already know. I tend to be in the gold range, so solidly average player. Strategies can be situational, if you want some solid knowledge on game mechanics, check out LukeTheNotable on Youtube, he has lots of videos explaining weapons and movement and things like that.

Biggest thing for me is using the right weapon for the job at hand, and not panicking. I’ve gotten quite a few reversals, which does not speak well to my situational awareness, but means I was able to stay calm and out shoot my opponent.

Another big thing is to stick with teammates, and fire on any enemies you see. Helps your assists, but also sometimes nets you a cleanup kill.

Use a precision rifle (Battle Rifle, Carbine, etc) with a plasma pistol.

Be versatile, adaptable, and don’t stick to the same routine. Be willing to back up your team. Keep a good awareness of your surroundings. Don’t rush to become a bullet sponge.

Some tips I keep to very closely:
-Chuck a frag or into the wall next to you if you’re being chased so they have to either break away or risk eating that frag.
-Last second grenade at your feet before you die. Works kinda like Martyrdom from CoD4.
-Play it defensively at first and then aggressively push to throw them off
-Gambling in 1v1 fights. Both your shields are down and they retreat? Jump and boost after them so you can maybe catch them during a reload or at the very least surprise them.
-For objectives, sometimes the most predictable path is best. No one ever expects you to run up the most dangerous route, they’re busy protecting the easier routes.
-Use a teammate to bait an opponent into what he/she thinks is a 1v1 and pop out of your hiding spot when it’s too late for them to run.
-FLANKING. Can’t tell you how often people are in the heat of a firefight and forget that there are multiple routes around a map.
-Realize when you’re seeing red. Know when is a good time to push and when not to, you don’t want to run someone down just to end up getting lured into a trap. Don’t aggro too hard on one guy, if you can’t finish him/her, let them go and let your team know where they were heading.

And that’s all I’ve got.

For campaign, look up speedrunners streams and you tuber channels such as Nak3d Eli

Also, don’t try to stick to one thing for too long in multiplayer

Kinda like one of the S-II tactics, pretty interesting.
