What is your opinion on halowaypoint?
It’s a damn good forum. Mods are pretty cool, and the layout is decent. Stat tracking could use an upgrade (looking at you MCC) and I hope in the next site update it doesn’t shift toward a vote/reddit style.
It’s fine. Not my favorite forum to frequent, but I still find myself here most days. It would be nice if there was an app so I didn’t have to sign in all the time, but that’s a minor gripe.
Hate it. Definitely can’t see myself frequenting this forum for ten years.

I like it. Sure, it’s a tad outdated and could use a bit of TLC, and some of the members are a bit questionable (not saying names), but I pop on every hour or so to see what new topics there are.

I think it’s cool. A nice central way for the fans to discuss Halo. I’m going to echo the two previous comments about it being updated by saying I would love some enhancements to stat tracking for MCC in particular.
I’m curious what your opinion of it is?
Overall, I’d say it’s decent, but I think the service record for previous games needs to be updated to something like H5’s mainly for MCC.
The microwave in the lounge takes twice the amount of time to heat stuff as it should. The couch is kinda lumpy too. Maybe some new drapes soon. Purple would be nice.
It’s alright, kind of just go on here when I find a bug or come upon some problem w/ an event or promotion or whatever to find clarification through other people’s forum posts. Honestly coming on here and finally getting around to using the Halo discord server have made me feel like there is a tangible Halo community out there.
I like it, the mods are chill and the people and topics are funny as heck.
Waypoint is ok… I wish 343 would use it more being that it’s supposed to be the official place for Halo. One thing I really wish is that they would dump that lost cause of Halo Channel and bring the Halo Waypoint app from the Xbox 360 to Xbox one. The waypoint app was great that really brought the games and outside media together. I loved getting the codes in game and entering them in on Waypoint. Halo sure was better on the 360 than Xbox one over all as far as immersive game stuff.
Like it, all it needs is an app, wouldn’t mind more frequently active people too
I wish they kept those videos and made more stories from the Halo Universe like Dirt.
I would consider this forum to be decent. However, it would be so much if some quality of life features got introduced like the possibility to see threads that you have read.

Holy Chief I need this in my life.
I like getting on here for discussion and whatnot, but I definitely miss the app integration used on the 360. I used that way more and liked getting rewarded for doing so. Plus I got to show cool little vids about Halo to my brother who plays with me, but isn’t a deep in the lore as I am. He liked the alien breakdown and history videos.
The layout and functionality is fine.
My only real gripe is that you cant see old archived discussions after a certain point and reviving old threads gets them locked because apparently that’s a rule we need to care about.
Also not always a fan of people on the whole since for whatever reason nobody reads my comments properly and proceed to argue cherrypicked nonsense at me. If I cant expect people to be able to read something without taking it massively out of context then why bother even partaking in discussions
It needs some work. I would like the ability to post images, post videos, more avatars to choose from, and better stats. http://halo1hub.com/ is a great site that allows Halo 1 players to meet up for LAN parties and I would like to see its features absorbed into waypoint. Halopedia is much better than Halowaypoint’s Universe section, I would like to see its features absorbed.
I would like to see it as an app on the Xbox Series platform as well in mobile play stores like it was in Microsoft’s mobile play store for Windows phones only.
Halo Customs website also has great features that should be put on waypoint.
The more versatile waypoint is the better. We should be uniting the Halo community as much as possible on one platform. There are too many Halo Facebook Groups, Halo discord, Halo platforms like Amino & Reddit. All those features should be on Waypoint for a strong community.
I would also like to see more medals available.
