I personally think that armor coatings take away customization for players because you can’t choose your own color.
I agree that it takes away a bit of customization especially for players who use the same colors for every Halo game up till infinite but coatings do sound interesting in their own way it’s still going to feel off compared to the original pick 2 (or 3) pallet
