What is your ISP and up/down speed for halo 4

Hey all I wanted to pose a general question for everyone. What ISP do you have and how strong is it? By that I mean what is your upload and download speeds

I currently have roadrunner and my speeds are 10 Mbs down and about 1 Mbs. Up. Is that a decent connection or is that kinda slow. I’ve noticed a lot of games where I lagg a lot and shots don’t register. What is your setup?

I have 1 MB download and less than 1 MB upload, so you tell me which is better, mine or yours :stuck_out_tongue:

It doesn’t help that I also have my brother and father on youtube most of the time, cutting down bandwidth and making it impossible to play.

Wireless MiFi hotspot (no wired internet where I am); basically a glorified cell phone. I usually get about 750 Kbps download and 300 upload. It’s capable of more, but may be limited by whatever bandwidth the cell tower gives it. I don’t think it’s the up/down speeds that matter as much as ping times. I suspect the ping times on the hotspots is pretty poor, but don’t have a way to compare it to another internet type.

There is my connection, when I play I still experience lag.

I am on a linear 25x25mbps up/down. I was using a router, then I switched to a hardwire. Still get a little lag but thats when someone is trying to use a toaster for a router on their end.

100/100 mbit, ping from 0 (yes, sometimes it says 0 and I know it’s weird…) to 20 ms. I’m from Sweden, using ISP Telia.

I have 4MBs and rarely have lag. Most times it is because of terrible hosts.

That’s normal when it comes to Sweden, top notch servers with good connection from your ISP will result in very low Ping (actually about 0.5 but shown as 0). Especially when Ping testing a server only 50 miles away from you.

I’ve got 65-75 down, 10-20 up and between 10-25-ms ping - never once been host. Guess living in New Zealand isn’t conducive to that? How do you even get host anyway? I’ve seen people post that they often get host with connection speeds that are under a third of mine. Is it largely due to location?

30Mb Down, 2Mb up ping 15ms.

It feels like I lag almost every match, maybe because I’m from the UK and the game doesn’t seem to prioritize connection.
