I would love to hear what other people in the Halo community love to play, whether it’s on a specific Halo game or MCC, with their friends or on their own. I have already created a forum to discuss people’s least favourite gametype which has come with some interesting debates, but I think its time to hear the positives of Halos matchmaking.
Personally I love playing the majority of 4v4 gametypes (slayer, objective, etc.) on my own but if I’m with a few of my friends online, I can’t resist playing a few games of BTB for a great laugh using the different vehicles.

Fat Kid is one of my favorite Zombie/Infection gametypes.
Tower of Power on Ascension in Halo 2 is probably my favorite overall game type.

I see videos of this game mode on youtube, but never get a chance to play it myself. 
My favourite non official game mode is probably a mix between fat kid and castle wars. I like how fun fat kid can be and I like how you can get some cool clips in castle wars.
2vs2 and FFA

I usually love the crazy sandbox modes. I think halo could use some more sandbox fun or mechanics that don’t also affect the minimalism of the 1st person interface and cor simplicity of movement and game world interaction. However, I did win my first game of crazy king within memory last night and it felt great. Might be my new favourite besides heavies or the aforementioned sandbox stuff!

I’ve only played Halo 3 and Halo Reach, but my favorite playlist is Halo 3’s SWAT.
