Mine is the BR and always has been. Now with the TU it feels soooo good to stomp on kids without the BS. I played today again and it felt great! Thanks 343 for making the BR the king weapon again!

That shouldn’t be a thing, I like the LR then Carbine then DMR then poop then the BR
BR. It just feels right now and I like playing at its effective range.
Its really map and gametype dependent. With that being said though its the BR for close and mid range. Then the DMR for Long. I don’t really use the other weapons much unless I feel like changing it up.
i had the most fun with the battle rifle when it was a 5 shotter. now that it is a 4 shotter, im sure ill love it even more. the Assault rifle was also a longstanding solid for me (newb alert!! or whatever)
i still find the lightrifle too luminescent for my liking, as it is a dead givaway to where you are, but it does fine in it’s own right.
ill be able to actually use the carbine more effectively in war games now though. that’s a bonus.
the dmr… i never liked it too much, but i still gave it some practice. good for long range. cant wait for more cqc map though. i like close quarters as opposed to long range. who says you cant main an AR and not do decently? 
overall i think 343i went the smart way with this update. anyone who disagrees… meh.
now grif just needs to stop stealing our swear words… 
My favourite weapon is still the Spartan Laser.
Why? Because of it’s power and versatility.
If you meant only the weapons which have been changed in the update (you didn’t mention that), then it’s the Light Rifle.
Still the LR and carbine. No change, except I’m using the carbine a lot more.

There should not be a “King Weapon”. That breaks balance, which was the sole purpose of the update. (Power weapons excluded of course!)
DMR is still the king, at least in Doubles.
I still use my same loadouts. My preferred is Light rifle / suppressor combo. I still only have one dmr loadout, one carbine loadout, and 2 br loadouts, like before. Nothing really changed for me, other than I now kill even better with my normal weapons

It really isn’t. It has it’s niche back though. Long range it still gets beaten out by dmr and light rifle, and close it still gets beaten out by automatics. It definitely feels better though.
The AR, as it always has been. But for competitive play I’d say the BR, as it always has been.
BR is my most used weapon but I think I’m going to change to DMR LOL. 4sk BR is great but thats what it should have been in the first place. I really only used it because I loved it in H2&3. DMR actually feels like a challenge to use now since it doesnt flat out beat everything.
I’m also going to make a couple of Carbine loadouts because its beast now.
