Pretty straightforward, I just wanted to see what weapon people liked the most in Infinite. For me it’s the shock rifle, mostly because of how satisfying it feels to use optimally. I also think it looks pretty cool. It’s like the Banished dismantled a brute shot and attached a rail gun to it, or vice versa.

Difficult decision because I actually like all the weapons - yes even the ravager.

When you stop comparing weapons to old weapons and see them for what they are, they’ve actually done a really good job. I hated them at first

For example, I don’t look at the ravager as an incinerator, I look at it as a EMP weapon, like a big ball of plasma pistol, can take multiple people’s shield down then headshot them all, you won’t get a lot of kills with the ravager itself but will get a lot of kills using it with a BR or pistol.

But I’m going Shock Rifle too, I’m very used to flick shotting with snipers but this, like you say, forces you to use it very differently and is rewarding.

I’ve been dominating with the heatwave recently. Definitely becoming one of my favorites.

I liked it a lot after playing ranked, but I freaking LOVE it after playing BTB. It’s invaluable at fighting vehicles

Ravager. I don’t use it for obvious reasons, but when that mf gets buffed… *chef’s kiss *

Shock Rifle. Even though its only a 50/50 on if the shots will register at all or not.

you made a compelling argument for the shock rifle… but i seriously go through periods of intense love for each & every weapon!!! the kill confirmed sound effect is truly brilliant - i don’t think any other shooter has made me feel so damn satisfied after killing a player (:

i am a DIE-HARD Sidekick fanboy. The pistol has made a triumphant evolution into a beautifully slick, powerful and oh-so--Yoink!- killing machine. I’m no competitive purist, but with the new BR + Sidekick, Team SWAT has never felt so good!!

My favorite NEW weapon is the skewer by far!!! But I’m SUPER glad the BR is back to being the BR! Especially the zoom look animation being the original style again and not this ADS style looking garbage animation.

If you hit all your shots it can kill from deep. And the bounce just makes it even easier.

Agreed, you can cross map with it if lead shots then people on here say it has no range

And this is another example where people compare it to an old weapon, they think the bounce should track like a scattershot and it confuses them

I agree there should be a br sidekick starts.

Halo 5 Magnum is better tho. It’s what I ultimately want as the starter. Better paced shots. ADS. clean sound. And the one handed running animation. Man I miss that animation

It’s not useless and you’re not useless with it.

It’s simply misinterpreted.

People see it as a big bulky incinerator type weapon designed to kill 4 people at a time. It may have performed more this way in the flights but not now.

It’s a plasma weapon, it’s designed to take shields down, not health. A burst or a charge shot, then a headshot of a pistol or BR is what it is now used for.

If the design of this weapon was an orange coloured plasma pistol weapon, people would love it because they’d realise what it’s for and associate it as a bulky plasma pistol instead of a weak incinerator.

Its just a bigger plasma pistol that you have to be less accurate with, can strip shields of multiple people and can area deny then headshot too.
